20: Murder Case

Ainee's POV

"Anong balak mo niyan?" Pearl asked on the other side.

"Well I guess mag papahinga na muna ako sa plan nayan." I answered.

Nasa trabaho ako nang biglang tumawag si Pearl and as a kind friend I answered it even though I'm in my work hour.

"Ikaw? Mag papahinga? Really Ainee Davina Rae?" She really likes to tease me. Minsan siya pa ang dahilan ng init ng ulo ko, this woman is really good at annoying me.

"Not really, Iiwasan ko lang mag krus ang landas namin ng sinumang member ng Miyazaki." I laughed.

After the incident yesterday, wala na akong narinig pa tungkol sa kanila and sa tingin ko ay gumagawa na rin ng plano ang mga 'yon para gumanti sa'kin. Yun ay kung kakayanin nila ako.

Hindi sa pag mamayabang but I'm pretty confident to myself na hindi nila kakayaning kalabanan ako. My dad raised me well, I have my own unique childhood than them. Iniisip ko palang ang bagay na iyon ay natatawa na ako.

"You seems very busy with your work huh?" She laughed. Natauhan ako ng sabihin niya iyon.

"Ohh, yeah." I answered.

"Sorry for bothering you then." She laughed again before ended the call. I was about to say something! This girl!

Ibinaba ko ang cellphone sa table at hinarap ang laptop ko. Guine really good at handling business, she had the potential of being the boss, no doubt uncle Ferdinand didn't bother to train her. She was good at her own.

But still! Paper works is everywhere, although konti nalang ang kailangan kong tapusin pero sadyang tinatamad na talaga ako. Kanina kakatapos lang ng project proposal and after that here I am, finishing this endless paperworks.

"Carmyne." Tawag ko sa secretary ko. Lumapit naman siya agad at tumayo sa gilid ko.

"Yes ma'am?" She said.

Pinakita ko sa kanya ang papel. "Can you give this to Mr. Carlos and ask him to read this before put his signature." I explained. Tinuro yung mga kailangang papirmahan.

"And this one, to Ms. Robi, tell her she needs to sign this agreement para ma approve ko na." I added. Tumango siya at kinuha sa'kin ang mga papel.

"Noted ma'am." She said before leaving.

Bumalik naman ako sa ginagawa at pinagpatuloy ang mga kailangang tapusin. I wanna go home early today, I'm not 100 percent sure pa kung makakauwi talaga ako. And speaking of, mukha hindi nga talaga ako makakauwi ng maaga this time.

Jake's message popped up on my phone.

jakee.ing: Hey Ainee! Let us all meet at the head quarter later at 12:00, Kevin and I have a big news :)))

Bumuntonghininga ako at nilapag ulit ang phone ko, I didn't bother replying to his message. May kailangan pa akong tapusin.

Kaso walang 5 minutes akong nag tatrabaho ay nakaramdam na ako ng gutom. I looked at the wall clock and it was 11:25am already. Inayos ko ang bag ko and I decided to go to the nearest restaurant to buy a lunch.

I was actually thinking if mag oorder nalang ba ako kasi tinatamad akong mag drive ngayon, but of course I ended up buying by myself. I'm craving an Italian pasta right now so instead na sa pinaka malapit na restaurant ang punta ko napalayo pa tuloy ako.

I think diretso na rin ako sa head quarter after ko mag order, yeah! Great idea Ainee. I text my secretary that I will leave at the company early. Inihabilin ko na din sa kanya ang mga papel na idi-distribute niya sa mga stakeholders.
