Texas woke up to a normal day once again. Maybe the call wasn't real? Who knows.

It was only a matter of time before he was gone, and there was really nothing else to do. Of course, he still had his gold star from the party the night before, putting it on after he changed his outfit.

When he looked outside, there was a small note right there, on the floor somehow. There wasn't an option anyway, he just had to read it. He opened the note, reading it.

"Hey, whoever the hell you are..

UN told me to send this to you cuz he was busy, as he always is.. I'm not very excited for you to come here for a bit, but maybe just the slightest bit I could be. Yeah, I literally have no idea who the heck you are, but I know that you need to get here and wait for UN to make sure you get independence somehow, like us.

Thanks.. :/"

There was no trace of this person who wrote this letter at all. Strange..

It was too late to ever think of that anyway. Besides, wasn't the person who wrote that letter going to get independent as well? Who knows..

It was too late.

Texas was going to get independence no matter what.

However, there was someone else that wouldn't even stand a chance with that plan, and of course, it was America. Why wouldn't it be!?

Meanwhile, America and D.C. were still talking about Texas becoming independent.

"Look, if they stay with me, they aren't getting out. That's all I have to tell you, damn it." America said, frustrated.
"I can agree, if one leaves, the others would want to as well," D.C. agreed, but not very much. "However, some of them would refuse."
"True, it's just..." America sighed quickly. "He's just not ready yet.."
"I understand you're worried about him, but look, he seems very successful," D.C. assured. "I'm sure we can let him achieve his dreams."

They would let him achieve his dreams! Not just yet though.

It would be a long day anyway, but looks like UN was calling. Looks like they wanted something? Who knows.. However, right now, he just had to pick up...

"Hello?"
"Hello Texas! Did you get the letter I told someone to send you?"
"Yeah."
"Good.. turns out we have found where you should go to be 'verified.'"
"Verified? What do ya mean?"
"There's a.. you know, waitlist for these types of things after all."
"Oh.. so where am I on whatever ya call a waitlist?"
"Not the far behind, anyways need to go, goodbye!"

UN hung up. It wasn't normal this time, as they hung up quickly. It was unusual, as they would hang up a couple seconds later.. Texas wouldn't care about that fast hang up anyway.

For now, at least.

Later that day, Texas was just having a small chat with D.C. about being "verified".

"I have no idea how this verification process works, but I believe I do have some idea of it," D.C. stated, looking through the drawers of his desk to find at least one verification paper somewhere in there.

"Aha! Here it is."

D.C. gave Texas some sort of "verification" paper.

"You can send this to UN if you wish to." D.C. said as Texas left them.

Texas read the verification paper, but not much of it.

"Hello, traveler!

I would love to tell you, that you are so close to being independent, but there's just one more thing you gotta do. You see, there's a verification process you can take to make sure you are recognized and you stay that way. Remember, you aren't alone in this. Others are just like you, trying to accomplish this, too."

There was still more information, but it really wasn't important to him anyway. All he had to do was go to a certain place that was on the paper and wait to get verified! It was very simple.

But he couldn't except the fact that it wasn't.

There was literally almost no way to get there! It was just probably an old place, nothing much. Besides, who the hell knew why people were sent there anyway, instead of just waiting for a response from UN wherever the heck they were.

Of course, Texas looked outside after a bit, but just when he was about to do that, a black star was seen, right there, on the ground. It was just awkward to why it was there, but then again, once he looked out there, he saw something, like a flag. He has never seen this flag before, but maybe one of that states made it just for fun.

Some of the states turned out to be playing out there, maybe it really was just a play thing.

Suddenly, he got a text from Mexico.

"Hola inútil." (translation: hello worthless.)

Texas read the message and decided that he had no choice, and that was literally. As the star that was meant to be his left eye turned slightly gray, he blocked Mexico's number just as the star turned white once again.

He then saw another note, this time, by the same exact person who sent the note earlier that day!

"Hey again.

UN didn't make me send this, I did this cuz I just wanted to. I just wanted to tell you that I'm not excited about your appearance when you come in just about less than a week. Listen here punk, should you desire something that is as pure as independence? That's right you little shitface, you can't."

Wait.. did this unknown person really have to tell him such things like no independence?? Texas was slightly frustrated, but then calmed down after a second. He just threw the note away. Besides, what was the whole point of this unknown person's plans that they could be planning anyway?

This unknown person was very suspicious in their actions.

Texas was ready to find out who was doing this.

Just as his achievements on independence, could be just a lie as that.
