As the sheen of sunlight filtered through the curtains, casting a warm golden glow across the room, I stirred in the bed. As my senses gradually awakened, I became aware of a delicate and alluring fragrance permeating the air. My eyes fluttered open, and a soft smile tugged at the corners of my lips as I inhaled the intoxicating sweet scent of jasmine, cuddling deeper into the pillow.

The memories of last night revived slowly in my head which explained why I was staring at the violet-colored ceiling, surrounded by a canopy of multi-hued curtains, contrasting off-white shades of my room.

Lazy mornings weren't the luxury I indulged in often, given the never-ending work but today seemed exactly that kind of morning, perfect for some leisure. It wasn't every day that I got to wake up surrounded by such sweet scents and soft sheets.

Rolling onto my stomach, I buried my head into the pillow of my roommate, inhaling deeply.

Obsessed. That's what I was.

With her fragrance. With her presence. And maybe sometimes, even her rage.

Maybe that was just lust talking, but I didn't deny my mind the frill of thinking about her, especially when it was conjuring dangerous images of the happenings inside the bathroom from where I could hear the patter of shower accompanied by the occasional sound of contented sighs.

The steamy tendrils of warmth wafted into the room, mingling with the scent of shampoo and soap.

My hands could remember the feel of her against me, as my eyes threatened to slip into the abyss of sleep again.

Hearing the faded sound of the door unlocking, I became fully alert, the remnants of sleep slipping finally from my eyes.

I shifted to lay on my back, as the faint footsteps drew nearer, their gentle rhythm grew more distinct as they approached. My eyes were still partially closed when I saw the silhouette of Ria, searching through her opened closet.

Just in a tiny towel.

It barely touched her mid-thighs.

And suddenly I wanted to know how her legs would feel wrapped around me.
