"Pads you can't just kill my queen because you're close to her " remus scold me for the 10th time now
"Okay let's stop I just can't play chess it's frustrating " I groaned laying on my bed
"But you don't have a choice how will you fet ivy's father to like you if you don't learn "Peter said as James agreed
I sighed closing my eyes I just can't take it anymore
"Didn't think playing chess at 3am in the morning is fun " I heard ivy's sleepy voice say I opened my eyes fixing my postion looking at her
"Ivss you're awake "james said
"Well hearing remus yelling at siruis woke me up " she said crossing her arms
"Sorry about that " remus apologised
"What's going on " she asked
All the boys looked at me I just chuckled nervously
She came and sat next to me "sorry love didn't mean to wake you up " I apologised
"Well leave you two alone " remus said leaving with boys closing the door behind them
"Now tell me why do you look frustrated " she asked me
I sighed "It's just I've been trying from the moment we came till now to get your dad's approval but he doesn't like me I tried everything but it all of them turned to be disaster and I'm sure you know about the coffee accident I know he is your dad and you adore him and I adore you but I can't seem to make him like me " I spilled out everything
She held my hand smiling softly at me
"Baby you need to be hard on yourself because of my dad he's just being protective of me and even he doesn't like you I love you so he needs to bare with it I want to spend this summer having fun with you so don't worry about dad's approval because it won't effect our relationship trust me "
I took her hand kissed it
"Do you know how lucky I'm to be with you " I said looking at her beautiful face
"I know I'm lucky to have you too and I also know about the coffee accident james told me it was hailours I really wished to see your face when it happened "she exclaimed laughing
"Hahaha very funny "I said as she continued laughing
"Sorry baby" she said kissing my lips Which I obviously kissed back passionately
That night we cuddled to sleep it was the best sleep I had in a while
In the morning I felt small kisses on my cheek I smiled knowing exactly who it is
"Good morning love "
"Good morning baby did you have a nice sleep " she asked
"Mhmm it was a great sleep "I said snuggling in her neck
"Well good for you baby now let's get ready for breakfast " she said
"Can't we just stay like this and skip breakfast " I whined
"No we can't because I'm hungry " she said leaving me alone
I groaned and went to the bathroom to get ready
After some time I went down greeted everyone and sat next to Ivy
After the talk we had I was more relaxed knowing that she'll always be on my side but I still want to take one last chance with her dad but not with trying to impress him I'll just talk with him and be honest
Hopefully he won't kill me although by the galres he is giving me I'm sure I'll either be hexed or killed
The day went by quickly we played some muggle games then we went to the shops bear the house
It was night already all of us were going to sleep but then I notice Mr russo alone in the garden
Maybe it's my chance to talk to him
"Hey guys I'll follow you later I just need to something very quick " I told the guys and they nodded heading upstairs
I went outside to where he was standing I stood beside him
"Hello sir " I greeted
"Black " he said coldly
"Look sir I know my first impression wasn't really good and I know I messed up a couple of times trying to get you to like me but that doesn't mean I'll ever leave Ivy "
"What did you just say "
Okay I'm starting to regret my decision is there away out of this or not
No no I should keep going for Ivy
"I'm saying that I know you don't like me dating your daughter and that your overprotective of her but I certainly with out any doubt I love her I'm not perfect I never fekt love from my own parents I know they aren't good people runing away from them was the best decision i made thanks for the potters they accepted as one of their family and your daughter who stayed beside me and made me learn how to love so even if you don't approve of me I won't give up one her or break up with her she is my everything every night I dream about a future with her and I just wanted you to know that " I said everything I wanted to say the weight on my shoulders just disappeared
He looked at me silently and then he held up his hand
Here comes the punch I closed my eyes but then I only felt a pat on my shoulder
"Listen black I know I don't like your family and your a dramatic impulsive person as well as reckless and you give me a headache just be looking at you " he said
Wow he is scolding me at least he didn't hex me
"But I can see you're a good person and I can see your love for my daughter in your eyes I watch how you look at her like she is the only one I don't expect anything less from you I also don't hate you "
"You dont?" I asked surprised
"I don't as you said I'm overprotective of her because she is my little girl and I won't hesitate to hex anybody who hurts her but I know you can protect her so I am giving you my blessings to date her "
"Really !?!? Thanks sir"
"Just don't you dare to hurt her or I'll kill you also dont touch her alot when I'm around because of you do you'll regret it " he threatened me
"Noted" I said happily
Finally I got what I wanted ivy's parents blessings she'll be very happy when I tell her
