Chapter 10

Ellie P.O.V
The next day was pretty much the same as every other day. All the girls calling me horrible names for dating Hiro...i don't let it get to me though. It's just a few girls, right? The only thing that was different was that there was a new girl in school. She said her name is Abigail Callaghan and she seems pretty nice. She sat next to me in Geography, although I did catch her staring at Hiro. I guess I'm just a little protective over him because I love him a lot and any girl could swoop in and take my place. I shake my head 'No Ellie, he's not like that. He loves you' I whisper to myself. When the bell rang for lunch me and April went to the canteen and sat down, only to see Abigail FLIRTING with Hiro. Oh hell no. He's my man. Hiro looked towards us and smiled as he walked over to us, leaving Abigail. He gave me a kiss on the cheek "hey!" He smiled
"Hey what's up?" I say
"Oh nothing. I was just talking to Abby, she's really nice. I think you'd like her" he smiled. Oh...Abby? So they're shortening eacothers names now? Next thing I know they'll be giving each other pet names! I shake off my thoughts and look over to 'Abby' who seems to be glaring at me. I buy a pot of fruit from the lunch lady and begin to eat.
"Girl, how do you only have a pot of fruit all day?!" Says April as she takes another bite into her chicken burger.
"Just not hungry, I guess" I shrug. She nods. When we both finish our food we go and sit outside on the benches which wasn't a very good idea because Jennifer, the girl who has had a massive crush on Hiro since the day he started our school, started having a go at me.
"You don't deserve him" she says
"Kay." I say carelessly as I get up and walk away, finding Hiro. April followed. Last lesson, Abigail was in my class and Hiro wasn't. I sat next to April and she talked about Abby
"She always seems to be giving you death stares..."
"I know. Do you think maybe she likes Hiro or something?" I ask
"Probably..."
