BONDITA~
"Bondita, get up and make breakfast.." I sighed throwing away my blanket and walking to the bathroom Still sleepy I quickly brushed my teeth and took a shower
Pulling out my school uniform, I grumbled to myself, Mondays are not the best days, at least not for the school students and I am no exception. Getting dressed up and braiding my hair I rushed out of my room and directly inside the kitchen to make breakfast.
"Good morning Maa.." I said while carefully placing milk on the stove to boil
"Get up early from tomorrow onwards, your father went to work without having breakfast and he is going to be very angry.." My mother said sternly while cutting vegetables
"I wake up early maa, my school starts at 8 and still I get up before the clock hits 6 just to make breakfast and still you don't appreciate me, do you know my friend Shanti she wakes up 30 mins before school..." I mumbled showing my displeasure for getting up early
"Don't go around using this big tongue of yours, your father won't appreciate that and I just asked you to wake up a bit early to make breakfast and you are showing me attitude. I was married when I was your age." Maa spoke glaring at me and I huffed continuing to do my work
There is no way I can win against my mother in this argument because she will always shush me with her big eyes even my elder brothers are afraid of that look.
"Maa? Where is the breakfast I am getting late for college.." Take the name of the devil and he shall arrive
"Wait for a few moments beta, your sister is being lazy today.." My mother spoke giving me a stink eye before walking to her dear middle son [who deserves a middle finger] and forwarding him some fruits
"What am I hearing chipkali? you are lazy early morning? How outrageous.." My brother aka Rehan spoke grinning
"Do you even know the spelling of lazy? big brother " I said giving him a sweet smile
"Maa, This chipkali needs a smack from me she has stopped giving me respect.." Rehan hisses angrily glaring at me
"It's you who needs a smack from me, Rehan" my eldest brother Raghu says walking towards the dining room
"What for?" Rehan bhai asked nonchalantly while eating an apple
"You took money from Maa, didn't you?" Raghu bhai asked angrily and Rehan Bhai nods unbothered
"And where did you use it?" Raghu bhai interrogated while I served him and Rehan bhai aloo poha
"My friend needed money bhai I just helped him" Rehan bhai defended himself
"Even if we have enough money, I still don't appreciate you going around distributing money to others as per your wish, keep that in mind.." Raghu bhai said throwing a menacing glare towards Rehan bhai before starting to eat his breakfast
I took out my breakfast and was about to eat when my plate was snatched away from me, I glared at my twin brother who had settled himself down beside me while eating my breakfast
"Maa look at your Donkey of a son, he snatched my breakfast.." I complained angrily
"Watch your daughter's mouth, Sujata. Is this what you are teaching her to disrespect her elder brothers?" My oh-so-lovely grandma makes her entry holding rudraksha mala in one hand and her walking stick in another she taunts my mother like a typical mother in law
"Don't mind her words Amma, Bondita say sorry to your brother.." Maa glared at me and spoke
"But maa.."
"Bondita. say. Sorry"
"Sorry.." I mumbled dejectedly while glaring at the ground
"It's ok little sister.." My twin brother, older to me by 5 min, says showing his 32 teeth which I will break any second
After that, the breakfast was completed silently and my two elder brothers left after taking blessings from Maa and Dadi
"You two behave in school and Bondita pay attention to your classes.." Maa says as me and that Donkey wear our shoes and take off running towards our school
"Let's race little sister, I love to see your grumpy face after I defeat you.." Vansh speaks already running
"You are a cheater Donkey.." I yelled running behind him as he laughs at my struggle to match his pace
