Urokodaki came to the scene and started talking to Tanjiro.

"I did not intend to send you to finall selection. I had no wish too see another child die. I didn't think you would split that boulder. But you did well. Tanjiro you are and amazing child."

Urokodaki told tanjiro petting his head. Tanjiro started crying and hugged urokodaki.

"Go to finall selection. But make sure to come back alive. Your sister and i will be waiting here for you."

After he cut his hair urokodaki gave tanjiro a mask. He called it a warding mask. Apparently it offers protection from evil.

He can't take nezuko with him so he's leaving her in urokodaki's care.

But you on the other hand were up and running. So tanjiro and urokodaki decided to let you go with him.

Tanjiro and you were now about to leave he fixed Tanjiro's colourand pated his head.

Moving on to you he gave you a hug and handed you a parasol to protect you from the sun.

He nodded at you to take it.

You started walking away urokodaki waving after you. before Tanjiro turned around.

"Give my best to sabito and makomo!"

"Tanjiro how is it you know the name of those two deceased children?"

Urokodaki muttered to himself. You arrived at mt. Fujikasane you climbed a flight of staird

Hundreds of wisteria flowers hung from above.It was truly a beautiful sight. At the top of the stairs you arrived at the top.

Were the final selections was happening. You looked at all the people that were there.

Most of them had scars on their faces. A couple stuck out thogh.

There was a girl with a side ponytail. Who was looking down smiling.

A boy with yellow to orange hair who already looked beaten up.

Another boy with a mohawk and a scar going from his left cheeck and over his nose.

You looked around in awe. Then the two girls in the center started speaking.

"Greetings everyone. Thank you for gathering tonight for final selection. Mt. Fujikasane holds demons that demon slayer swordsman have captured alive and trapped here. Demons hate wisteria flowers wich bloom here all year even out of season."

"Hate but-"

Tanjiro looked over at you who was stuffing multiple of the flowers into your mouth.

He sweat dropped at the sight. Before he turned his attention back on the girls.

"They cover the mountain from its foot to halfway up the slope. However from that point on, the wisteria does not bloom.-"

When you heard that your eyes widened and you stuffed as many flowers in your mouth as possible. And pucked as many as you could carry.

"-So the demons roam free. You must survive there for seven days. If you do than you will have passed finall selection. Now go."

Your dress was now stuffed with flowers. and you were carrying a lot in your arms. Tanjiro started running up the mountain you followed soon after.

But after a couple seconds of running you dropped. one of the wisteria flowers You collected. You went back a couple steps to get it back.

But when you turned around ready to start running again. Tanjiro was gone you searched around for him.

But there was no indication that he was even ever there. You huffed and started walking in a random direction.

You have been walking for a while now about 3 hours. In this time you've already come across 2 dead bodies.

They both had swords still on them. Although one was completely broken and the other was chipped.

You took the chipped one to be able to kill demons with less efort. You made a basket out of twigs to keep any flowers you had found.

The smart thing to do would have been to kust ration the wisteria flowers you collected. But you just ended up mindlessly eating them.

You only came across a small patch of flowers very rarely. Technically you could just go hungry. but you needed energy to fight and heal yourself.

On the third day you encouraged the girl with the side ponytail. That you saw when you first entered this mountain.

In the start you just stared at each other but then you started following her. she doesn't say anything about it so it fine.

you developed a sort of wordless 'friendship?'

She never talked and you couldn't really talk autger. But nonetheless you came to a sort of agreement.

You follow her around and grant her protection, even though she doesn't actually really need it. And she didn't question why you regenerate and eat flowers.

What a wonderful bond indeed
