NIGHTPORT
Welcome to Nightport, a coastal city in the United States and one of the most diverse cities in the world. Tourism is booming with all the resorts, restaurants, and more that the city offers. Think of it as a cross between Los Angeles, San Diego, and Las Vegas. It's a dream to live in Nightport, even for the ones who already do.
But... with any big city comes big crime. Petty thievery is hardly the issue, it's the corruption of the city that is. The city is run by The Six: the largest independent crime syndicates based in the city. Their leaders hide in plain sight as CEOs, businessmen, you name it. Unless you're directly involved, The Six are nothing more than a mere rumor. Though some say that their ties are so far, no matter who you work for, you're working for a syndicate even if you're at the bottom of their food chain.

THE SIX
The Cobalt Legion Run by Viktor Cobalt, CEO of Cobalt Malls, a shopping center company. Really, his interests lie in two things: trying to dominate The Six, and selling contraband to the government and other fellow syndicates.
The Phantoms Run by Daniel Royce. Royce may sound familiar if you know about the luxury car brand: Rolls Royce. Art theft and smuggling is the syndicate's top income.
The Black Diamond Brotherhood The most vicious of all the syndicates: if you can pay the price, you have the top trained bounty hunters in the nation.

AUTHOR'S NOTE
hi!! welcome to Syndicates. This story is something that I thought of and then totally ran with. The first couple of chapters were me dusting off my writing cobwebs, as I used to have a Wattpad account a couple years ago as a young teenager. I promise if you stick through it, you'll be in for quite the ride!
I currently have nearly 50 chapters written, so although you may see less, I am frequently rolling out the next set of chapters :)
