Chapter Ten

It had been already a few months since I last met Hansvi...
And since then...
I don't know why I feel so low!
I am not at all interested in studies...
Even Going to the library didn't give me happiness...
So I started gaming...
It was a good timepass!

"Mbbs karne ke baad bhi Ghar pe sirf parha rehta hai! Kuch kaam dhanda toh kar le!! Baithke sirf mobile dekhta hai! Yeh nahi ki maa ki madad kar de thoda!!!!"

And there's my mom! Never letting me to stay at peace!
I kept my phone down after pausing the game..

"Kya hai mumma!"

"Kya hai? Apni maa ko kabhi dekha hai kitni mehnat karti rehti hai! Aur ek tu hai Jo din raat phone chalata hai! Kabhi apni iss maa ko madad kar du! Yeh khayal toh dastak bhi na de tere dimaag mein!"

I chuckled...
She's cute!
Don't know why! Whenever she scolds me I feel happy!

I went to her and hugged her from behind...

"Accha maate! Boliye! Kya kaam hai iss naacheez ke liye!"

"Ehm ehm... hukm mere aakaa! Apke samaksh aapnka genie taiyar hai! Yeh genie aapka koi bhi ikshaa Puri karne ka guts rakhta hai!"

I said dramatically!

"Accha? Guts ki toh Hindi aati nahi aur chala hai genie banne!"

She slapped on my shoulder ..

"Accha abh bata do kya kaam hai!"

She took a box and gave it to me... which also had a note..

"Yeh box le aur iss address pe pohocha de! Aur haa! Box ko kholke mat dekhna bilkul bhi! Chetaavni hai! Agar dekha toh mujhe pata chal jaayga aur tu bachega nahi!"

She said while I looked at her...

"So mujhe ek doctor se delivery boy bana Diya Gaya hai! Mujhe insaaf chahiye my lord!!!!!"

"Bohot insaaf milega! Tu sahi salamat yeh box pohocha de! Khaane mein Aaj tere favourite cheese parathe Bane hai!"

She said winking at me while I kissed her cheek!!!

"You're the best! Main abhi Gaya aur abhi aaya!"

Saying this I ran from there for delivering this box!

On the way... i looked at the address carefully... I have never heard of this address! How come my mom know someone living there??

Who cares? I just have to deliver this and then cheeseeee parathaaa!!! Uhmmm.....
The tastes in my mouth stays!!

After sometime.. I reached an isolated road... where I could see hardly anyone!
Strange!
Did I come in the wrong way?
I looked at the note again...
It lead to this way only...
The sign board says street 66...

I looked here and there to find someone atleast... 
I saw someone coming towards my direction ...

"Excuse me! Can you please help me with this address?"

I asked... at first he looked at me strangely and just showed me the way...
And then went..
Okay! I am going to a mysterious place!
His facial look said that I didn't!

After walking for long I finally reached the place...
It was hugee! The building... and looked old...
I would be lying if i say that I was not scared!
I was scared af!

I gulped.. and opened the door...
It was dark...
I decided..
I turned around and was about to go when I heard something...

"Aye ruko!"

Mar gaye!
I am dead for sure!
I turned around and saw a man approaching me...

"Kya kar Raha hai yaha pe?"

"Woh.. woh.. ma..main... ye..yeh... wo...woh...ma..!"

I was fumbling forwarding the box...
He took it after looking at my condition...
He opened the box and gave an awkward look...
He closed it again ..

"Yeh lekar upar jaa... jo saamne wala room hai udhar rakh dena!"

Mee????
Whyyy???? I was about to run away!!!
Mummaa....
You have to put me in such danger!
Okay! Don't get scared, Hrithvik!
You can do it!

I took my breath and went upstairs... as I reached upstairs... I was about to enter the first room ... When my gut feeling told me not to enter...
And my gut feeling can never be wrong!

So I turned around and before I could see anything... I felt a push.. and i fell down...
I think someone was above me...
I opened my eyes and saw...
Two pair of eyes..
Which were beautiful!
And familiar??
Her face was covered with a black cloth!
Unknowingly my hands wenttowards her face and I removed the cloth...
Wait a sec..
What's she doing here???
We both were drowned in each other's eyes...
After sometime.. she widened her eyes....
She got up and pulled me up...
She looked here and there... And pulled me inside the room...

"Tum kya kar rahe ho yaha????"

She asked... with a fear in her eyes...

"Ma..main.. wo.."

Why am I not able to say anything???

"Jo bhi kar rahe ho mat Karo aur bhaago yaha se! This place isn't safe!!!"

She whispered...
I am confused..
Then why she's here???
She slapped her forehead...
She looked here and there as if searching for something...
Not getting it she held my hand and took me somewhere...

"Oyee! Kya kar rahi ho??? Mujhe maarne ka plan hai kya?? Choro mujhe!"

I was saying that...

"Shhhhh!!!!!"

Shushing me she came near me and placed her palm covering my lips....

"Shaant raho! Jo sunana hai bahar suna lena!"

She said...
While I was continuously looking at her...
For a sec she lasted our eye contact...
She backed off and started looking for the thing she was searching...
She looked like an agent...

We could hear a cradle sound..
She stopped... and went towards that sound...
I followed her..
We were standing outside a room..

"Kya kar Rahi ho tum?" I asked..

"Shh!!" She said...

She took her hairpin and started unlocking the room....
After sometime it unlocked and we went inside... I don't know why I was following her instead of running away...
She entered the room and I saw a baby sleeping inside the cradle....
The baby was covered with a soft rope....
Whyyy.??.
She went near the baby and freed her from the ropes...
She carefully took the baby after covering her face again...

"Na idhar dekhna na udhar dekhna! Sirf mere peeche chalna! Agar yaha se Zinda nikalna chahte ho toh!"

She warned...
Which raced up my heart beat...
Where am I? And why???
I sincerely followed her...

We saw someone coming towards the same spot...
She immediately hid all of us behind a wall...
I looked at her carefully...
Her face was sweating and covered with hair strands all over...
My hand automatically went to remove them..
Sensing someone's hands coming towards her face she immediately turned and held my hand and was about to twist it when she saw my face...
She looked at me...
Why did she stop?
Before she used to literally kill me!
And now!
She left my hand and turned towards the door...
