I've loved the Lord since I was very small, getting baptized at 6
years old. I have my mom to thank for that because she has always made sure we (me and my sister) knew the
truth and started teaching us about God since we were babies. However, I didn't really understand
some concepts and the depth of God's love and Jesus's sacrifice until I was 18..oddly
because that was when I started to seriously struggle with sexual sin. You can imagine how this
was really strange and confusing to me because just as I was beginning to truly love and
understand Him I was seperating myself from Him at the same time!! But it gave me the
beautiful picture of how God never gives up on us. Two (almost three) years later I am doing
better but I am far from perfect, far from where I think I should be. I mess up and sin almost daily. However, I find comfort knowing God's unconditional love, grace, mercy, and forgiveness covers my mistakes. We are all works in progress at different areas in our journies. I want to write my story and document my journey for myself but also for others who might struggle with the same things. Struggling in private makes the journey of faith and life rather impossible, but with community and God we can overcome anything together. God didn't intend for us to be alone and that's why I am here, to tell you that you are not alone. Let us have a community of love and support to encourage and build each other up.
