The Quest To Catch Them All

Chapter 21

I originally wanted to apologize for disappearing on you guys for years but after what happened in the chapter i deleted. i'm angry but also impressed at what you people did in just 2 days. So enjoy, I had to get a computer to make sure there are't any mistakes so no complaining.

From next chapter onwards for simplicity we'll refer to Michael as Red. Since a majority of People call him that but he still has his name.

Mom:"Oh! Look at you! You've grown so big I hardly recognized you"

Michael's mother says hugging him, Michael hugs back as he watches Eevee run into his bedroom to fall asleep, He's trained some of his pokemon a lot so he can't blame them.

Michael:"I haven't gotten that big, Mom"

Dad:"Pretty sure you have. When you left you were a tad bit shorter than me and now we're at the same level"

Michael shrugs.

Michael:"Still not too big of a growth"

Michael came home to spend some time with his family because he missed them. He's grown stronger along with his pokemon and he is now 90% sure he can beat the elite four, He'll cover that other 10% with some more training and bonding.

Mom:"So honey, How has your adventure been?"

Michael takes out his trainer card and he shows all 7 badges, The only badge missing is from the gym leader in Veridian City.

Michael:"This one, I don't know where or who the gym leader is but that person never shows up"

Dad:"Darn! That's still a mighty achievement. you've only been gone for 4 months yet your almost done with all the gyms"

Michael:"I would have been done earlier if there weren't any problems throughout my journey"

Dad:"You sound confident in yourself"

Michael nods.

Michael:"I am and I know I'll win"

His dad chuckles, Confusing both Michael and his mother.

Dad:"If you truly think you are capable of winning then how about going against your old man? I am a former gym leader"

Michael:"Oh yeah, You stepped down after falling in love, Right?"

Michael's dad nods smiling.

Dad:"Yep! Best decision of my life"

Michael shakes his head with a few smile. He doesn't want his parents getting all lovey in front of him

Michael:"Alright, I'll take you on old man. You know what I bet i can even win against both of you at once"

Mom:"Careful, Honey. I may be your mom but that doesn't mean I'll let you get away with such a threat"

Michael:"Then prove me wrong, My wonderful parents"

He says and his parents stare at each other for a brief moment before smiling accepting their son's challenge. Minutes pass and now Michael is standing In front of his parents who are stretching.

Dad:"I haven't had a pokemon battle in so long, It's starting to remind me of the good old days"

His father says while his mom nods in agreement.

Michael:"Dad, You specialize in fighting type Pokemon and you are the gym leader of the former fighting gym in Saffron city"

Michael says and his father nods agreeing with everything he has said, Michael then stares at his mom.
