Chapter 26

Red walks out of the victory road, After fighting various powerful trainers and going through many items. He has realized all of that training was indeed worth it. Now he stands before the door which separates the elite four from him and once he beats them. He will be proud of himself and he will prove to Kanto that he is more than ready to beat most of the trainers in Kanto alone and he will stand as the strongest in Kanto.

Jim:"Champ in the making! I knew I'd see you here one day!"

Jim shouts calling Red over as soon as he sees him entering. Red is shocked to see him and his siblings who look identical to each other.

Jym:"Hey it's Red! How have you been?"

Red gives a nod while staring at the siblings. He starts counting them.

Gim:"Well this is a major event that happens once a year. So it's sort of hard for the main man himself to miss it and also there are are a lot of strong trainers who have showed up this year"

Vim:"You said it. There's around two dozen people who beat victory road and are on their way here. We even went through the struggle of making it harder than usual"

Tim:"Isn't it good? We have so many people to watch this year and If they fail then that won't matter since we have knowledge of the powerful people in Kanto"

Zim:"True since we know we have more than 20 people who can help with future projects and protect Kanto when the future champion is busy"

Jem:"We'll be rooting for you and you're friends. Give it your best out there!"

Red:"Thanks. I'll see you guys when the tournament ends"

Jim:"Oh yeah. How about we explain everything to you since it's our job"

Red nods.

Vim:"Alright, So this isn't like your average Gym. You beat the Victory road but you still have the elite four to beat, You and everyone else will be going up against them but first. You need to "Weedle" each other out"

Zim:"You'll be put into 4 separate areas each with 6 people and the person who comes out on top in each area has the chance to face the elite four. We call this, Trial for the elite"

Tim:"So the Four get to face the elite four. But one of the rules is you need 3 pokemon for this event and you aren't allowed to heal your pokemon before, during and after a battle. It's basically a gauntlet and if your pokemon is seriously injured or if you do the injuring then you'll be disqualified. So make sure you don't push them too much but knowing you I doubt you'd do that"

Dim:"Here. Draw from this box and we'll see which room you will go into"

He says giving Red a box. Red stares at him.

Red:'Holy Arceus, There's eight of them?!'

Red thinks. Now that he has started to pay more attention after he finished counting now he also realizes they look identical . His face doesn't show the shock but they seem to understand what he is thinking.

Jim:"I don't blame you for staring too long. It's pretty rare to see 8 siblings born on the same day, Our parents know the struggle better than anyone but don't worry about that and go get them Champ!"

Jim encourages Red, Red nods putting his hand in the box. He shows them the small paper and it has 1 on it. Dim nods, Gesturing for Red to follow him. As Red walks he sees the many cameras that are focused on him.

Dim:"Normal people aren't allowed back here but they can see the trainers that made it far and you are one of them. Unfortunately or fortunately, We can't let the audience see the fight with the elite four and the only time we will allow reporters in is when the final champion has been decided "
