It's been a few days, I have to go back to London today for physio tomorrow but Maddie isn't okay. Carla spoke to her and gave her a week off so she's coming with me. I don't want her to be alone whilst she has to deal with this. She's really struggling and I don't know what to do.
She's been getting a lot of hate on social media too for the tackle on Alanna. Jill said she snapped her ankle but it's only a slight sprain. I don't know why Jill got so angry to almost kill Maddie when it wasn't even that bad. They tried to appeal the red card but it didn't work, so she's banned for 3 games which isn't the end of the world.

Leah: babe, are you ready to go?
Maddie: yeah, Bruno is all packed up too.
Leah: okay, come on then.
We all get in the car, Bruno on the back seat and Maddie in the passenger seat.

We are about an hour into the 2 hour journey when Michael starts calling Maddie.
Maddie: hi dad
Michael: hi honey, how are you today?
Maddie: I'm okay, just in the car with Le and Bruno.
Michael: ah todays the day?
Maddie: shush dad
I look at Maddie confused.
Michael: oh I'm on the speaker arent I?
Maddie: yeah you idiot
Michael: sorry about that, how are you Leah?
Leah: I'm confused now, I want to know what's happening,
Maddie: you'll find out when we get there.
Leah: no, I want to know now
Michael: all in good time my dear, anyway, I've put my foot in it so I'll leave you to it. Love you both
Maddie: love you too dad, talk later
Michael: byeeeeeeee
He cuts the call off.
Leah: babe what's going on? What's today?
Maddie: urgh babe just drop it for now please?
Leah: is it bad?
Maddie: no, nothing bad at all I promise.
She kisses my cheek then starts texting on her phone.
We get to my house and Bruno starts barking.
Maddie: I know it's been a long journey hasn't it buddy? Come on, let's get you out.
Maddie gets Bruno out of the car, whilst I grab the bags.
Leah: fucking hell babe how much did you pack?
Maddie: not that muchhhh
Leah: you're only here for a week you know?
Maddie: maybe longer.
Leah: huh?
Maddie: I'm talking to arsenal tomorrow.
Leah: about what?
Maddie: moving clubs.
I look at her.
Leah: are you being serious?
Maddie: deadly serious.
I drop the bags and pick her up and spin her around.
Leah: you're joking.
Maddie: no baby I'm not, can you put me down? Bruno is going mad.
I chuckle a little bit.
Maddie: nothing is 100% yet okay? So don't get too excited and go telling everyone you know.
Leah: 6 years baby, 6 whole years I've waited for this.
Maddie: I know baby, me too, just don't get too excited okay?
Leah: I promise I won't.
Maddie: okay good, now can we go inside? I'm cold.
Leah: of course my love.
I kiss her softly and open the front door. My whole family are here.
Leah: wha-what are you guys doing here?
Amanda: nice to see you too Leah. We haven't seen Maddie in around a year so we thought we'd pop by.
Maddie walks in with Bruno.
Maddie: oh hey guys, been a while.
Amanda: that's the reception we were looking for.
Mum gets up and hugs Maddie first.
Amanda: how are you darling?
Maddie: I'm good, doing a lot better.
Amanda: that's great news.
Mum comes and hugs me.
Leah: hi mum.
Amanda: and how are you?
Leah: feeling like you all prefer Maddie over me.
Everyone including myself laughs.
Amanda: oh darling, of course we do.
Everyone laughs even more, I just sulk. Maddie kisses my cheek and walks inside to say hi to everyone.
Everyone chats for a bit, I'm sat on the sofa and Maddie is sat next to me. I have my arm around the back of her shoulders whilst my parents are talking to her.

Maddies POV:
David: so how are you?
Maddie: I'm okay, doing a lot better now I'm away from Villa for a few days.
David: Leah told us what happened with Jill.
Maddie: yeah I'd rather not talk about it if that's okay.
Amanda: of course it is honey, just know we are here for you okay?
Maddie: thanks guys.
Someone walks in the door without even knocking, I look over and it's Jacob. Leah's little brother who she hasn't seen in a year or so.
Leah: JACOB!
She jumps up quickly and runs over to him.
Jacob: hey sis, sorry I'm late.
I stand up and go over to him.
Jacob: madsterrrrr
Maddie: jakesterrrrrr
We embrace in a hug. We came up with those nicknames years ago.
Leah: wha-what are you doing here?!
Jacob: thought I'd come see my favourite, and my sister.
I start laughing at Leah's expression.
Jacob: I'm joking chill out sis.
Leah: yeah yeah.
Amanda: my babies are back together.
Amanda hugs them both at the same time.
I go sit back down and talk to Leah's grandma whilst her and Jacob are catching up.
