Mon's POV

MonMon...

I heard a little soft voice calling me.

Mon?

I shake my head, helping me come to my senses.

Sarai was looking at me, extremely confused while still holding the necklace in my direction

The necklace...

I looked at it, and the more I looked at it the more my heart ached. The more confused I got!

My eyes got teary.

This couldn't be happening. No way!

I squatted in front of Sarai and held the hand she had in front of me, still holding the necklace.

Sarai: MonMon, why are you crying...

I'm not crying. Was I crying?

I touched my cheeks and felt the wetness from my tears.

I quickly whipped it off and sniffed. I took a deep breath and looked at Sarai. She looked worried!

Mon: Who gave you this necklace?

Sarai: I don't know, Mama just told me it came with me. So I should keep it safe!

I nodded!

Sarai: MonMon, can you put it on, please? We need to go now. Noi is waiting for us!

She placed the necklace on my hand and turned around so I could put it on.

It took me a few seconds to do so since my hands were shaky.

My chest was tightened! I was still puzzled.

I wanted to hold the necklace and look at it. Check for every detail. It looked too smilier.

However, it doesn't mean it belongs to Belle.

I want to believe it was just a coincidence. Maybe Sarai's mom also had the same idea.

There's a way I could confirm if it belongs to my Belle. I could try to open it; if it contained my mother's picture and Belle's baby picture everything would be confirmed.

But I was too scared to do so.

What would that even mean? That Sarai could be my Belle...my daughter?

No, no way!

That couldn't be possible!

Sarai was Sam's daughter, hers only!
