1 years time

In one years time everything can change. One year may be grasped intellectually but just like the battery on our favorite wristwatch, there is always a surprise that enough time has passed to warrant a new one.

Reflecting on a year passed is potentially opening her box, the one we were originally running from.

I do not know the girl from one year ago. We crossed paths but she never had the opportunity for a breath. I want to meet her, hold her. I want to honor what she has persevered through.
