It was Hae's 20th birthday today and she was going live for STAY. Well it wasn't her exact birthday, it was the day after. She couldn't do the live on her actual birthday because she had spent the days with the other members. She apologized to STAY for not doing the live on her real birthday but no body really cared, they were just happy she was going live.
She sat in front of the camera in front of a few balloons and a 'happy birthday' banner. In front of her on the table was a plain cake with light pink icing and Hae written on the top of it "Hi STAY" she smiled, waving to the camera "Welcome to my live!" she exclaimed, throwing her arms in the air "I'm really really sorry i didn't go live yesterday, but i was spending the day with the members so i hope you understand" she said. All the comments said that it was okay. She sighed in relief and sat back in her chair with a smile.
After a few minutes of reading comments she picked one of the gifts up and opened it "This is one of my two presents, so i'm going to savor it" She said to the live. She opened the box to find a colorful tutu "OH wow!" she exclaimed with a smile "It's so cute!" she beamed, standing up and putting it on. She laughed and swirled around in it "It's sooooo cool!"
After she sat back down and read the comments again before reaching for the next present "Okay, last present" She said, tapping the box "I'm gonna guess what it is" she brought the box to her ear and shook it lightly "Huh?" she sighed, shaking it again "Is it a rattle?" she asked, her eyes wide as she looked behind the camera. She laughed and opened the present, showing a baby rattle "Cute" she smiled, picking it up and shaking it "It's a bit random" she laughed "But i can give this to Jeongin" she said, putting it to the side.
She read the comments again but realized she was getting hungry "I wanna eat my cake now" she said, pulling the cake towards her "I haven't had cake in years" she said with a chuckle "During my trainee days i rarely ate sweet things, i've kind of forgotten the taste" she said, opening the plastic fork package "I'm excited!" she beamed, slowly she stuck her fork in the cake and brought it to her mouth "Wow!" she exclaimed, smiling brightly "It's soo good!" she laughed, eating another bite "Wow" she sighed, putting the fork down and picking her phone back up "So good" she said again, reading the comments. After a few seconds she read a comment saying 'eat more cake! you deserve it!' she laughed and patted her stomach "I'm full" she said, obviously lying "It was really good though" she said, putting her phone down and giving the camera a thumbs up "Very very very good......wah i miss sweets" she whispered, tucking her hair behind her ear and reading more comments
After five minutes of Hae reading and answering the comments there was a knock at the door "Who's that?" she asked, standing up and opening the door. Standing in the door she saw Changbin and Lee know "Hi" she beamed, hugging the two "What are you guys doing here?" she asked, sitting back down in the chair
"We're here for your birthday!" Changbin exclaimed, jumping behind her, singing happy birthday. Lee know joined in with a smile, clapping along
After they had finished the song Hae clapped for them "Wow!" she exclaimed "You guys hould be idols or something" she said with a smile, interlocking her hand with Lee know under the table
"That's a great idea" Lee know smiled, standing beside her, holding onto her hand
"Well we just came to say hi to STAY and to sing happy birthday" Changbin said
"Well thank you for coming, Binnie" she smiled, standing up and hugging him
"Love you, Sunny" He smiled, hugging her back with a smile
"You're a lil cutie" she laughed, stepping away and patting his head "Love you, sunny" she repeated back to him, mimicking how he said it
"I'll let that slide since it's your birthday" He said, patting her head before walking out the door while pointing at her
"Bye, Minho" Hae smiled, standing up and hugging him tightly
"Bye, soon-bok" He said back "You're so beautiful, sunny" he whispered while hugging her
She held back a smile while her cheeks turned pink. She waved to him as he left the room and sat back in her chair, pushing her hair away from her face with a smile.
"I had such an amazing day with the members yesterday" she said, sitting up and putting her phone down "I don't really like surprises so we stayed at the dorm and just hung out, it was so great" she explained "All the boys are so kind. They all gave me such amazing and meaningful presents, and then they all wrote me cards with the sweetest messages. I loved it so much." she said "They're the best. I love my boys"
After a few minutes Hae read a comment out 'Happy birthday, Sunny! our sun's 20!' she smiled "Yeah, i'm 20" she chuckled. After a couple seconds she looked up at the camera and sniffed, tears in her eyes "Um well, thank you for spending my birthday with me" she smiled, wiping her tears "I don't know why i'm crying" she said, blinking back tears. She sat in silence for a minute trying to stop her self from crying "I'm 20" she sniffed, wiping her eyes with her sleeve and looking up at the camera "Anyway, thank you STAY, i love you" she said, waving to the camera with tears in her eyes. The live ended with Hae looking at the camera with tears falling down her cheeks.
She went back to the dorm, wiping her eyes and sniffing. As soon as she opened the door Minho hugged her. The other members were in the practice room. Minho wasn't there because he said he'd wait for Hae. But when he saw her crying on live he knew they wouldn't be joining the others for a while "what's wrong, soon-bok?" He asked, letting her cry into his shoulder
She continued to sob, trying to calm down "I'm 20" she sniffed
He stayed quiet. Minho didn't understand why she was crying, he was 20 and he didn't cry.
She stepped back and wiped her eyes dry "my teenage years are over" she said, looking at the ground "and I wasted them in a practice room. While everyone was having fun, I was spending my days alone in a room, practicing and practicing until i was perfect"
Minho understood now "Sunny" he exhaled "you have so much ahead of you. Yeah, you spent all those years in a room, but you're going to spend the next ten years on stage doing what you love" he said, holding her hands "it wasn't for nothing"
She nodded slightly "it's just that I'm never getting those years back" she told him "I missed out on so much"
"Then we can make them up" he said with a smile "whenever you think about things that you missed out on, tell me and we'll do them" he smiled
She looked up and smiled "you're the best" she said "I don't deserve you"
"Yes you do" he nodded with a warm smile, hugging her again.
