Carlos leaves and both Clementine and Stella goes upstairs. When they open the door, Sarah points an instant camera at them.
Sarah: Say "cheese"! (She takes a picture of Clem and Ella) I found this under the house. There was all kinds of old stuff! (looks at picture, then hands it to Clem) It's so cool! Take one of me! Come on, take one of me. Please?
Clementine: Sure.
Sarah: Get me in a good pose, okay?
Sarah hands Clem the camera. Stella watches quietly.
Sarah: (she gets into a pose) Okay, I'm ready.
Clementine takes a photo of Sarah.
Sarah: (she notices Clem and Ella's expressions) What's wrong? Um, where's my dad? Clem? Ella? You're both scaring me?
Clementine: It'll be fine. They're smart people.
Stella: Clem's right. They're smart and they know what to do.
Sarah: Are you sure?
Stella nods at the older girl.
Sarah: You wanna see what I found?
Sarah takes out a gun from under the bed.
Sarah: Will one of you show me how to use it? I couldn't find any bullets. If something's wrong, I should know. What if I have to use one? Nobody tells me anything.
Stella: Sarah! Where'd you find that? You know your dads gonna be angry if he finds out you have that!
Sarah: It'll be fine El, he won't find out.
Clementine: Okay, but it's not a toy.
Sarah: I know.
Stella: (she sends a look towards Clem.) I'm not sure that's a great idea.
Clementine: (She looks at Stella.) She needs to know how to at least shot it.
Clementine was right. Sarah needed to at least be able to protect herself, but she couldn't help but think about the amount of trouble they'd all be in is Carlos found out.
Stella: Fine. (She turns to Sarah) but you cannot under any circumstance tell your dad we taught you.
Sarah:: Deal!
Sarah points the gun at her head and mimics firing it.
Sarah: Bam.
Stella: Ok. Please don't do that.
Clementine: First, remember it's just a thing.
Sarah: (she points the gun incorrectly) What does that mean?
Clementine: Um... I don't know.
Sarah: I thought it'd be heavier. Okay, what do I do?
Clementine helps Sarah hold the gun correctly.
Clementine: The most important thing is, when you go to shoot, take a breath before you pull the trigger.
Sarah takes a deep breath.
Clementine: Not that big.
Sarah exhales.
Stella: Remember, always shoot for the head unless that person isn't attacking you.
Sarah: What should I shoot?
Sarah points the gun at Clem, and she ducks. Stella bites her lip.
