Stella wipes some sweat from her for head. It was getting late now, and the community was starting to get ready to serve supper. Stella had volunteered to help with dishes.

Stella has gotten along with most of the people living here in The Red Sun. There were a few people who she either didn't like or they didn't like her. Specifically Jennie and her mom. There were a few times where either Jennie or her mom would accuse or get angry with Stella.

Today was one of those days. Jennie had purposely ran into Stella and began yelling and screaming that Stella needs to watch where she's going. Of course Jennie's mom had to come and protect her innocent child.

Stella couldn't help but roll her eyes at the two. They had so much work to do and this is where they chosen to do, yell at the newcomer?

Jennifer: Aren't you gonna apologize? Did you not learn any manners?!

Stella knew the best way to deal with these situations is to not give them attention. So she stayed quite and continues with what she was doing, which was helping with the dishes.

Jennifer: I'm talking to you! (She steps closer to Stella) Hey!

Stella just sighs and ignores her. Which angers Jennifer more. Jennifer steps up to Stella and grabs her wrist.

Jennifer: Talk to me when I'm talking!

Stella: Let go of me. (She calmly says)

Jennifer: No! You're disrespectful and rude and I want you to apologize to my child right now!

Stella: (she sighs and grips the handle of a knife with the hand still in the water.) Let go. I will not apologize for something your daughter did. (She puts emphasis on the your)

Jennifer: Excuse me? You rude bitch! (She goes to step closer to Stella)

Stella sighs and removes her hand with the knife from the water and points it at Jennifer.

Stella: I told you multiple times. Your daughter purposely ran into me. I did nothing to your daughter. If anyone is the rude bitch, it's your daughter.

Jennifer looks at Stella with despise. Stella knows she has angered the woman, but did she care? Not really. She wouldn't let some woman bully her. If there was one thing she has learned living in a group. There's always gonna be someone who drags down others just so they can hold more power.

Jennifer walks over to where the stack of plates are, grabs one and throws it into the ground in front of Stella.

Jennifer: You better watch yourself. Your father may be the leader of this community but one thing is clear. You (she points a finger at Stella) don't belong here.

Stella: (she smiles at the woman.) You're right. I don't belong here. I belong out there (I point to above the wall) with my other family. So I could care less about how you and your daughter feels about me.

Jennifer scoffs and rolls her eyes before grabbing Jennie's wrist and pulling here along with her.

Stella looks around at the crowd that had formed formed before grabbing a makeshift broom and dustpan and sweeping up the glass. As she was sweeping, a hand takes the broom from Stella's hand.
