Clementine and Natalie sneak through the New Frontier camp with AJ. Some New Frontier soldiers are gathered around a campfire nearby.
Clementine: We're gonna get you the medicine you need, AJ. I don't care what they say.
Natalie: Clem are we sure this is the best idea? (She whispers)
Clementine: It's the best choice we have. If we don't get the medicine, AJ will die. We have to do this.
Natalie: I.. I know.
Clementine: Come on.
Clementine and Natalie sneaks over to the infirmary, where Lingard is sleeping. Clem sets AJ down and he starts crying.
Clementine: AJ, please. You have to be quiet.
Natalie: (She walks over to AJ and kneels down in front of him.) Shh little AJ. Everything will be ok.
Clementine: Nothing to worry about, little guy. We're gonna get you better.
Natalie: Clem's right. There's nothing to worry about bud.
AJ stops crying. Natalie smiles at him. Clem takes out a piece of paper that says "VANCOMYCIN".
Clementine: (She examines a vial of vancomycin.) Here it is. It would have to be a shot.
Clem takes the medicine and syringe.
Clementine: Shit, hang in there, goofball. This is gonna get you better.
Natalie pats AJ's head.
Clementine fills the syringe. Lingard wakes up.
Paul: Clem... Natalie...
Clementine: Dr. Lingard? What's the matter with you?
Natalie looks up at Dr. Lingard with concern.
Paul: I'm... I'm fine... Clem, please don't. The vancomycin... that's the last of it. It'll be wasted on AJ. I told you, it could save someone's life if used right. It's too valuable to throw away.
Clementine: It's the only thing that can save him.
Paul: Except it can't!
Natalie: We can't just do nothing!
Paul: I'm sorry, you two I tried everything. I really did.
Clementine: This will help him get better.
Paul: Nothing can help your boy now. Oh, Clem. Put the drugs back, before anyone finds out you took them. You know what they do to thieves here. There's still time...
Natalie: (She looks at Clem) Maybe we should put it back Clem. He could be telling the truth. If only El was here. She'd know.
Clementine: Don't worry about it. I'm already putting them back.
Ava: Oh, Clem, Nat, how could you both?
