ALTHOUGH Kassidy was severely sleep deprived, she couldn't help but revel in the beauty of Venice. After a short but scenic boat ride, the class had arrived at their hotel. From the outside, it looked like garbage. Kassidy hoped the inside was an upgrade. 
Peter offered the girl his hand as she was getting out of the boat, and she gladly took it. Although she was a so-called "superhero", her coordination was something that needed work. 
"Thanks." Kassie muttered, heaving herself out of the boat. 
Her coordination was greatly showcased as she slipped. She had skillfully set one of feet down in a puddle, which made the cobblestone beneath extremely slippery. Before she could fall back into the boat, Peters grip on her hand tightened, and his other hand landed on her waist, pulling her back onto ground. Kassidy stumbled into Peter, and her cheeks flushed red immediately. 
"Oh my god- thanks, Peter." she stammered, brushing herself off. 
"Yeah- yeah, no problem." Peter nodded, his cheeks also red. "Anytime."
A few awkward moments later, Kassidy and Peter had led the way into the hotel, where Kassidy immediately stepped into a large puddle of water. 
"Oh... great." she muttered, lifting her wet foot out of the water. 
"This place is sinking." Flash observed. 
"I think you mean charming!" Mr. Harrington smiled. 
"Okay, everybody, drop your bags off. We're gonna meet at the da Vinci Museum at 3." Mr Dell suddenly called out. "Let's go!"
Kassidy retrieved her room key, and walked up the not-so-sturdy stairs towards her room with MJ and Betty. 
She had the key in the lock, and was exchanging in conversation with MJ, when she caught a glimpse of Betty planting a kiss on Neds cheek. She opened the door and held it open, waiting for Betty to walk in before closing it behind them. 
"Uh... so wanna explain what's going on with Ned?" she asked, dropping her bags on one of the beds. 
Betty's cheeks flushed red, and she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "Oh- well, we got to talking on the plane, and he ended up asking me to be his girlfriend." she admitted, digging around in her bag absentmindedly.
MJ and Kassidy exchanged looks, but nevertheless congratulated their friend. 
"That's great, Betty." Kassidy smiled. 
Betty tilted her head and gave the girl a thankful smile. Her head snapped up towards the door, however, when somebody began to knock. 
"Kassie, let's go!"
"It's unlocked!" Kassie yelled, not turning around. 
Peter opened the door, his hair freshly combed and his backpack strapped to his back.
