Jack walked into his living room, a taller woman with dark blue spiked hair and bright blue eyes following him. They halt, seeing Aurora with her hair tied back in a bun. June was pressing a wet cloth against Aurora's forehead.

"You okay, Rora?" Jack asked, crossing his arms.

"Just battle scars." June joked.

"What?" Jack asked.

"Got in a fight." Aurora said, facing Jack once June was done.

"Holy shit, your lip." Jack said, rushing over to dote on Aurora like a mother hen.

"I'm fine-" she says, holding her hands in front of her.

"Aside from a broken finger, she is indeed fine." June confirms.

Aurora gives Jack a innocent grin.

"What am I gonna do with you?" Jack asked.

"I dunno. Love me." Aurora retorts.

Jack snorts.

"Who's this Jack?" The girl from earlier asked, placing a hand on her hip.

"Aurora Jameson." Aurora says, giving a tilted smirk.

Blood dripped from her lip, having reopened. "Shit," she cursed, pressing a cloth to her lip.

"I'm.. Cindy." The girl introduces herself awkwardly.

Aurora yawns, stretching her arms out.

"I'm hungry." She pips, looking up at June like a puppy.

"Good thing I ordered pizza. Wanna drive to go get it?" June asked and Aurora nodded eagerly.

"I love driving." She says, jumping up and slipping her boots back on.

"It's freezing out Rora, take my hoodie."  Jack said.

"Okay." Aurora said, slipping into Jack's black biker hoodie.

The hoodie was soft and warm, and it smelt like gasoline and lavender. And a hint of old spice body spray.

Aurora grabbed the keys to June's Ford and took the money from June before hugging June and waving at Jack and Cindy and walking into the garage.

Jack's motorcycle sat in the garage next to June's car and Aurora gave it a longing look. She'd always dreamt of driving a motorcycle, but with how Korrinthia and Daniel were, her dream would likely never become a reality.

She sighs and unlocks June's car, pressing the button for the garage door to open. She gets in and shuts the car door behind her, starting the car.

She pulls her hair out of her bun and ruffles it, making it look decent while she fixed the mirrors and plugged her phone into the Bluetooth.

She played her playlist and began the ten minute drive to the only pizza place in Jasper. While waiting at a stop light, a dark purple car drifted around the corner and smashed right into the side of June's car.

Aurora's head smashed into the window, shattering it upon impact. The last thing she remembered before blacking out was seeing a large robot smash the skull of another purple robot.
