It'd been a peaceful four days since cutting all contact with Korinthia and Daniel, and Aurora's mental state appeared to be improving.

It was a simple day at school, and Aurora sat in Psychology II, writing guided notes that her teacher had on the whiteboard.

"Aurora, you never mentioned your birthday was next Tuesday." The science teacher said, seemingly beaming at the 18 year old.

"Yeah, old as hell, right?" Aurora joked.

The teacher rolled her eyes as the bell rang. "Stay behind Aurora, I'll write a pass to the librarian." The teacher said.

The black haired teen gathered her things, and stood by the teacher's desk. The teacher waited until all the other students left, before pulling a small box out of her desk drawer.

"I taught your mother and aunt when they were your age, and I promised I'd hand this down to you when your mother had found out she was pregnant." The teacher said, brushing a piece of black hair behind Aurora's ear.

"Really?" Aurora asked.

The teacher nodded, handing the small velvet box to the teen. Aurora gingerly opened the box, small threads and pieces of velvet falling onto the linoleum flooring.

The box opened, revealing a seemingly glowing pendant in the shape of a wolf. For a moment, Aurora's eyes flashed blue and then back to brown.

"It's.. it's beautiful." She muttered, slowly pulling the necklace out of the box.

The teacher put her hand on Aurora's shoulder and smiled. "Happy early birthday Aurora. I'll see you Monday." Aurora beamed before prancing out of the classroom.

She shoved the pendent into a pocket in her bookbag, the soft grey dress she wore flowed nicely as she sauntered into the library, the librarian giving her a subtle nod of acknowledgement.

After school, Aurora hopped into Bumblebee's alt mode and buckled in, gently placing her hands on the steering wheel for looks.

":Do you wanna go with me and Raf for a while, or go back to base?:" The yellow scout asked, and Aurora jumped at the opportunity to spend time out with them both.

"With you and Raf. If that's alright." She says and both boys let out excited noises.

They soon found themselves racing down a backroad outside of Jasper, Aurora in the driver seat with Bumblebee's windows down. Raf was in charge of Aurora's playlist, which blasted through the scout's speakers.

Aurora's hair flew through the wind, and she felt as though she could really let go and be carefree. ":Having fun?:" Bee whirred, and Aurora nodded happily.

"It's been forever since I've felt like this." Aurora purred.
