Hey guys, we'll be starting off with our fave group of fairies. We left off with them leaving their dorm to head towards the ballroom since Cloud Tower and Red Fountain have both arrived and they're students have already filled into the room. Also-, I think I skipped the part where they named their group as the winx bc it was supposed to happen after they fought with Icy, Darcy, and Stormy but just to establish it, they already did name themselves that. Enjoy.

-Izuku's POV-

We all walked throughout the hallways as a group towards the ball room. The closer we got, the louder the music was and the more excited we felt. "Are you nervous?" I questioned, looking beside me to Bloom. "A bit. The most formal things I had been to before would be a couple of weddings and school dances. Nothing this fancy though... What about you?" She questioned back. "I'm not too nervous, though, the last formal social event I had been to was when I was little. I had been to parties but they're just that. Parties. But, I do know formal dances like the waltz and I've been in etiquette classes since I was young." I answered.

It wasn't long before we reached the door leading into the grand hall and crossed the threshold after a couple of other groups of fairies. However, myself, and my girls, could all tell that the energy shifted as we walked in. Bloom sort of kept to the middle of our group trying to ignore the stares. Musa waved to a couple of the other fairies she had met in her classes. Tecna kept a pretty stoic expression as she gazed over the crowd. Flora could be seen admiring the plant life around the room. Stella just giggled and raised her arm in a royal wave as we walked down the stairs, reveling in jealous looks. I just scanned the crowd until my eyes landed on a certain specialist.

I caught his gaze and under this lighting where I'm fully rested, and not exhausted as well as covered in blood, I could truly see how stunning those ruby red eyes were. My friends and I just continued to descend the stairs, walking down the magenta shaded carpet until we stood among the other fairies in the hall. We stood there, quietly conversing, as Headmistress Faragonda, along with Griselda, the headmistress of Cloud Tower, and the headmaster of Red Fountain all stood at the top of the stairs.

"Greetings, young students! I am pleased to see you all at this the annual celebration to kick off the new school year! There will be food served in just over one hour at 8:15 o'clock. Until then, the music shall be playing in the background so feel free to dance and converse. As you can see, there are many tables to claim and there's a table off the the side full of canapés* and flutes of variously flavored sparkling drinks. With that, don't be afraid to mix and mingle with students from other schools!" Faragonda bided as Griselda stepped up.

"A reminder for the visiting guests, Cloud Tower and Red Fountain are set to leave at 12am on the dot. I'm sure you've all already heard it before, but if you are spending the night, you need to check in at the nurses office. With that being said, let the gala commence!" the brunette instructor announced, classical music beginning to play in the background.

"This is so exciting!" Flora spoke, lacing her fingers with Bloom to get her out of her nervous zone. "You're right! This really isn't that bad... I don't know why I was so nervous before." the red-headed girl chuckled as she let go of Flora's hands. "It's only natural when going into something you're unfamiliar with." Tecna spoke before walking to a large circular table. "This should be big enough for all of us." the magenta haired fairy said as she wrote her name down on the empty place card.

"Ooo~! This is good, especially if others join us later." Stella spoke. "What do you mean 'others', Stella?" Musa questioned. Before Stella could answer, her attention was taken away by a certain brunette specialist lifting her right gloved hand to lay a soft kiss against her bare fingers. "Hello, Beautiful. You look absolutely radiant." Sky said, Stella giggling with a blush crossing her face. "Why thank you, Handsome~!" Stella flirted back. "Do you mind if we fill up the empty space at your rather large table?" the brunette asked, still holding onto the girl's hand.
