Emily was in time out for scaring her older brother, Jack. She kept pranking him by placing a fake spider on his bed, and jumping out and scaring him. She felt so ashamed for her actions. All she could do right now was stare at the wall, and not say a word.
Jack didn't like to be scared at all. He listened to relaxing music to help calm his nerves. And, he also wrote in his journal, and imagined his safe place, which was Delaware.
Emily would be out of time out in five minutes. After that, she would have to apologize to Jack for scaring him.
And, that's what she did.
