"How could you just start planning her burial?" Joe said angrily after, his father had introduced the idea of the early burial to him and to his mother.

"Why not?" Mr Enoch said.

"Dad, what is up with you?!"

"And....... I suggest that the burial should be next week. What do you think?"he said smiling.

Joe stood up and signalled his mother to stand too. They left the room. Joe looked back at his father and shook his head.

The burial was planned.

Joe and his mother did not oppose.

On the day, they were present. The already dark Sultana was lying in a coffin.

Joe felt his heart harden. His mother had a straight face. If you had seen them, you would have thought that they didn't know what was happening. Not a single tear fell from their eyes.

On the other hand, Joe's dad was crying seriously. Joe and his mum exchanged glances when they saw him.

It was a usual, normal burial. It went well. Joanne wore a black dress and veil. She was also crying seriously. When she was buried, Joe and his mother left.
