Pop into my life,
Walk out.
Take care of me,
Then leave unexpectedly.
Be the one who catches all my tears,
Be the one who causes them.
Disappoints me,
Makes me feel like a disappointment.
Unstable and fragile and hurt,
Something about this, just doesn't work.
Wounds inescapable,
Words unspoken —
Healing pushed back,
I feel as if you've stepped upon my heart & made it flat.
Yet, I still wonder when you will come back.
