You are my peace

When I am ten miles down below,

waiting to be taken by the sharks ~

My breath blows out of my body,

causing ripples to bubble up to the surface,

I hang on, you promised ~

The ocean churns, the tide remains high

Yet you provide a vessel,

one mighty and strong,

You command the seas to release me ~

I was sinking

my lungs and soul quenched of air, utterly hopeless

You saved me, showed me how to walk on the water,

You have covered me up and clothed me with grace

Now I am learning to dance on the waves ~
