Chapter 30: Padock Passes

We ended up getting up at noon, going straight to the kitchen to eat some food. I gotta admit I was slightly embarrassed to know Catherine knew we did it last night.

I was in the middle of eating my brunch in the kitchen by the rest of the family who was playing a round of Monopoly with Emily when Kelly called me, "Sorry a friend's calling I'm gonna step out for a second" "Ok dear" I walked out and answered the call.

"Omg Bri Max told me Lando was staying at your place, you know the deal, catch me up on everything!" "Promise you won't freak out" "Pinky swear" "I ended up sleeping with Lando... twice" "Omg Bri are y'all gonna get back together?" "I don't know, I mean we definitely aren't on bad terms, but I also slept with Eric last night" "Do either of them know?" "No of course not, you're the only person that knows now" "How'd you hide all this from Daniel anyways?" "He's a deep sleeper" "Eww not what I meant, but what are you gonna do?" "I don't know, that's why I'm happy you called" "Well who do you like more?" "I'm not sure"

"Bri, babes, you've gotten yourself in quite the mess" "I know, and now I'm not sure how to get out of it" "Well I'll be in Australia for qualifying, so we definitely need to meet up" "agreed, I'll let you know when because I'm not sure when I'll go back to the city" "where are you?" "Middle of nowhere, at Eric's family's lake house, with his whole family" "How can you not mention that detail, that sounds really serious, you better hope the guys don't find out you slept with both of them" "I know, and they won't, but either way I'm not theirs, I'm not actually dating anyone" "You're totally right Bri, anyways Penelope is calling me I'll talk to to later" "K sounds good bye"

I stepped back inside and continued eating. "Hey Eric" "Ya?" "I think I need to get back to the city tonight or tomorrow morning, I wanna be able to show up in time for the race" "Sounds good, we can leave tomorrow morning if you want?" "Ok"
Then Catherine stepped in "I wish you could stay longer dear, and that I could see your family too, it's crazy to think Daniel is in this 30's now!" "Don't remind me, I'm getting old too!" "If you think your twenty's are old wait until you're my age" we all let out a chuckle.

That's when Eric gave me a questioning look, "What if you come with us to the city, mom. I'm pretty sure we can get tickets to go watch Daniel, cheer him on from the stands" she looked over at me to try and read my facial expression "Well I wouldn't want to intrude" knowing I couldn't say no, "No, you'd never, I can call Daniel and have him arrange paddock passes for all of us"

So that's what, I did I texted Daniel and asked him knowing he won't say no. He responded seconds later saying he'd gladly do it since mom and dad were going to be there too. Great, now we have a little family reunion going on.

I let out the good new to everyone, "My brother said he'll arrange passes for everyone, and since my parents are gonna be there too, he invited us to all go out to dinner" "Well that sounds lovely, and I'm so excited to see your mom again" "I bet she is too, y'all still talk daily right?" "Yup, ever since you and Eric were little"
"Alrighty it's all set then" Then I left the room to go upstairs and pack some of my bags, needing alone time to think. I mean just look at what I have done! I slept with Eric, Invited his whole family to the paddock where Lando will be, and I still don't know if I want Lando or Eric. Plus if his family finds out I still have something going on with Lando I'd want to die of embarrassment, they are nothing but be kind to me.  I'm really gonna need to talk to Kelly tomorrow!

That afternoon we had a barbecue for dinner, so I headed out to the backyard, Eric was there playing with Emily. It was adorable seeing him be so gentle with her, he kept his cool, even when she'd start crying.

We all sat down the table and ate some delicious steaks, after we went to bed. Only this time Eric and I were in different rooms, and I'd gladly keep it that way, not wanting an other night that could stir up drama.

So far I'd say, Lando and Eric are one for one
