They were walking through the long hall back to the lockerroom.
"Hey daddy!" They heard me call and they turned to see who it was.
I stood there reddish orange hair creamy skin slender but small figure with small fingers and dark eyes. My hands were on my hips.
"You men never pay attention except when we're attractive." I say frustrated with my father.
"Yes love?" He says.
"I'm ready when you are." I say and he looked at me.
"Sweetheart You know I have to stay late." He told me.
"Don't worry about it Captain I have it covered." The blonde man said.
"Hi Pete." I said smiling biting my lip.
"Hi Mel." Pete said smiling, "Busy tonight?"
"Nope." I say nonchalantly, "What about you?"
"Nope." He said with a sly grin as his new partner was already in his civvies, "Wanna go dancing after I get changed?"
"Yeah, Pete. Sounds like a great idea." I say leaning towards him.
"Good. I'll be out in a few." Pete said and he left to change.
"Hi." I said to his partner.
"Hi, I don't believe we've met I'm James Reed but everyone calls me Jim or Reed if you'd like." Jim said.
"Nice to meet you. Like dancing?" I wondered.
"I love it!!" He exclaimed smiling, "I'm coming too, wherever he goes I go."
"That's groovy. I don't have any friends or partners like that Jim." I said.
"Well, I can be your hang out buddy like Pete." Jim said with a smile, "By the way what's your name?"
"Melanie, Melanie Grant." I say smiling.
"Melanies a cute name." Jim said.
"Thanks." I said blushing when out came good ol' Pete Malloy.
