Michelle was at the tail end of her sleep, when she heard movement in the room. She could feel the sun in her eyes, too.

"Thank you so much," she heard Anntonia's voice by the door, followed by the quiet click of the lock latching back as the door swung shut.

The actress kept her eyes closed, savoring the gentle warmth of the sun on her face, while listening to Anntonia's footsteps around the room. She was just about to doze off again, when the other girl called out.

"Oy, if you fall asleep again, I swear to God I'll throw water at your face!"

Michelle huffed in response, "I'm up, meanie."

"Good. Now get up and have breakfast with me. I got room service," Anntonia said in that tone Michelle absolutely could not resist.

Michelle was a sucker for boss ladies, just facts. And Anntonia had ordered food, too!

Who am I kidding, though? Everything Anntonia does is attractive to me.

"What time is it?" she asked as she got up and stretched her arms, her sleep shirt riding up and giving Anntonia a nice peek of her toned abdomen.

A slight blush dusted Anntonia's cheeks as she averted her eyes. "It's 7am, they moved the press event an hour later so we have time."

"Okay," Michelle followed the girl towards the table on the balcony attached to their suite. "Thanks for ordering breakfast."

Anntonia nodded as they both sat down and started to eat.

"How'd you know I was awake anyway?" Michelle asked, making small talk.

"You stopped snoring," the businesswoman answered, her face straight.

Michelle narrowed her eyes at her. "I don't snore!"

"Uh, yes, you do. You were snoring in my ear at one point."

"Woman, I would know if I snored!"

"How would you know? You're asleep!"

"Well, at least I don't sleep talk!"

Anntonia gasped. "I do not!"

"Yes, you do!"

Anntonia huffed and crossed her arms in annoyance.

Michelle laughed at Anntonia's expression—the girl looked so appalled, and still so... "So pretty..."

"What?"

Oops, did I say that outloud?

"What?" Michelle mimicked.

Anntonia glared at her, "Just shut up and eat."

Michelle only smirked as she bit into her piece of toast.

*bzzt bzzt*

Michelle looked at her phone. It was an incoming call from Rhian.

She quickly swallowed and sipped some of her coffee, before excusing herself. "I have to take this."

Anntonia only nodded, tearing into her own toast with a bit more force as she heard Michelle answer her phone with a lively "Hi, wifey!".

So, it's 'wifey' aka Rhian the best friend aka the girl always featured in MMD's posts and stories—the one constant girl in Michelle's life.

Anntonia stabbed into a piece of sausage at hearing a familiar giggle a few feet away. She doesn't like eavesdropping, but she really wished she'd learned to speak Filipino. She swore she heard her name thrown in there, but she couldn't be sure.
