Chapter 6: The New Couples

"I'm nervous..." Draco said, sitting on the green couch that had embroidered emerald gems on it. Blaise was sitting beside him.

"Me too, I doubt they'd find the girl I want."

Draco sighed, "Same mate, same."

Then, Pansy came in, "Boys, it's time to go, don't you want to see who your future partner is?"

Draco shrugged and Blaise shook his head, "I'm good."

Pansy sighed, "Come on, it really can't be that bad. I mean what's the worst that could happen? Like, I'm gonna be paired with a Gryffindor, boo Hoo. Wait, what if I AM paired with one of those brave goody two shoes! This is horrible, I'm going to die!"

Blaise nodded, "Told you it was this bad," and Draco laughed.

The trio headed toward the great hall, each perplexed in their own thoughts, wondering whom it would be that they had to spend time with for the rest of their life. "Yikes... We're late." Blaise whispered seeing the full auditorium, then he spotted a certain ginger color rushing through the entrance with a brunette hot on her tail. "Looks like we're not the only ones," Pansy smirked, "I'll leave you two with them." "What?!" The boys yelled and chased her, settling at the Slytherin table. Hermione and Ginny walked over to the Gryffindor table and sat next to Lavender Brown.

"Now, Ladies and Gentlemen, after this speech you will be provided with your results, all of you have gotten almost a 100% match with your given partner based on your test answers. Now, inside your envelope will also hold your new room number. The rooms are being magically rearranged as we speak. You are to share a room with your partner, and you will share a pod with 3 other couples. There will be a common room you will get to customize and on each side of the common room, there will be one staircase, which will lead you to you and your partner's room which you will get to customize, too. Now, here come the results, I understand you might not be happy with your future spouse, but I'm sure all of you will find that you and your partner are very compatible, just give it time. One more thing, your stuff is in your respective room already."

Hermione POV

A beautiful red envelope with a golden Hogwarts stamp right in the middle was carried by a dark brown owl with emerald eyes. I picked up the letter and dropped a few knuts of payment in the owl's tied sack. I frantically opened the envelope, ready to see my future, but the first 2 words I saw on my letter made my stomach go sick. Draco Malfoy. It was written in Red Bolded font.

The scroll was in front of me. I didn't want to open it, so I let Blaise open it and I could see from his smirk and grin that I was going to have the worst life ever. I turned red as a tomato, snatched the letter from him and covered my red face with him.

Blaise POV

"Shut up! Everyone will hear!" I snatched the letter and ripped it into pieces.

Well, I'm officially scared for my life, I was going to have to live with a high-tempered women with anger issues. On top of that, she's a Gryffindor and I can't stand her.

Ginny POV

I reluctantly opened my letter
