I entered the office. My boss was grumbling as usual. I sat in my office and opened the curtains I had to make.
My partner, Mrs Lane (lynn) came to my room. Lynn has been here since I came to this office. The first person to talk to me and meet the others. She always brought me coffee and told me about his misfortunes and futile worries. It was like she was with everyone, but because no one cared about what he said or was quickly overwhelmed, she spoke to me alone. I didn't care much about what he said, but I never got upset. I was a good listener to her, and that's all.
It was necessary.
Mrs. Lynn:" I haven't seen you in a long time, Mr. John!"
I took my eyes off the files. I wanted to tell him that the door had come in again, but instead I let out my breath and said, "Mrs. Lynn..I was busy and couldn't come."
Lynn: " Oh, Mr. John, that really tastes like this! The only person who tells me I was busy is you."
I delivered a strong smile and looked at the files.
Lynn continued: "well..Have you met a new person? Or are you still having a party with your silence?"
She laughed loudly and looked at me waiting for an answer.
I said, "Well, I actually found a new home"
Lynn:" seriously? Who is it? How old is he? What does it look like?"
Me: "Mrs. Lynn..Which one should I answer? It's called SANA and it's a little younger than me."
Lynn: "ohhh..So, Girl! I see you're getting into your life, Mr. John!"
I smiled.
Lynn: "Well, I'm actually dealing with a.."
The boss shouted: " Mrs. Linnen!!"
Lynn, who didn't finish, said yes loudly to the boss and walked out of my room.
It was four and a half O'clock in the afternoon. I put on my coat and left the office. I said goodbye to the colleagues and left the office for the restaurant nearby. I knew Sana wasn't cooking anything.I went to the street restaurant and ordered food.
I got home. The house was tidy. Sana had arranged it. We ate together and then sat down to talk.
She wanted to talk about dead people. She asked me, " have you ever seen a dead man's body in 48 hours?"
Me: "yeah. I saw the body of someone I didn't want to see. It was cold and dry."
Sana: "did you touch it?"
Me: "yeah..More than a million times. Until I believed he was really dead."
It felt like I was talking about someone I cared about.
She wanted to change the subject a little bit:"I'm alive, but I have the characteristics of the dead. Dry and cold body."
And he started laughing.
I laughed at her and tried not to think about the past.
