One bed

The cold winter air hit our faces as we made it to the cabin we rented. All seven of us had this tradition that every year for Christmas we'd rent this incredible cabin in a peaceful area up in the mountains far away from the busy city we lived in. As we got to the cabin I couldn't help but notice how incredible it was. Everything about it looked so cozy. I stepped out of the car and so did everyone else since we had two cars so all of us could fit. Andrew brought a girl he started talking to, so now we were eight.

We all went inside the cabin and our jaws were left open. We've been here every year but the atmosphere never failed to amaze us. It was spacious, warm, cozy and made of wood.

"Holy sh*t this cabin gets bigger every year" Jayden laughs
"The owners must be billionaires" Alex laughs and so does Addie. These two were definitely hooking up behind my back.
"Yeah but so are we for renting it" Atlas laughs
"Oh my god the jacuzzi outside is huge!" Elena said with a squeal as she pulls Jayden after her. THESE TWO MUST'VE BEEN HOOKING UP TOO!

I laugh as I go with the rest to the back area of cabin and saw a huge jacuzzi.
"We're all getting in!" Aurora (the girl Andrew brought along) said happily.
I liked this girl. She seemed very fun. I just hoped she'd treat Andrew well if they ended up together.

And so after some time of unpacking and getting ready I went into e bathroom and got changed into a baby blue bikini and go outside to meet the others. God you should've seen how Atlas looked at me. He looked hot too not going to lie. I saw everyone in the jacuzzi, Addie being in my brothers arms, Elena being in Jayden's and Aurora being in Andrew's. It was just me and Atlas who were the awkward ones. I mean what do you do after everything that's happened between us?? The eyes contact on the beach, the kiss, the hugs, the teasing, the tension. I got in the jacuzzi beside Atlas and look at all of the others being all cute with each other. The water was warm and the landscape ahead was to die for. The woods being all white and snowy and making us feel like we were in a fairytale.

"Lexie come on get on Atlas's lap for a selfie" Addie laughs and so does my brother.

"Yeah sis come on" Alex comments and grins.

Atlas gave my brother a death stare in annoyance before looking at me. I looked at him nervously.

"I'm fine..." I mumble and look away feeling the tension grow in the air between all of us but mostly for me and Atlas.

"Come on Lexie! Just for a second until we take the group selfie" Elena comments

I looked at all of them, the boys were grinning from ear to ear and the girls were giggling. I looked at Atlas nervously before finally deciding to get it over with. "Fine" was all I said before standing up and going over to Atlas on his lap.

I saw him give me a small smirk before slightly adjusting himself with his legs spread to make room for me. Oh god I couldn't believe I was seriously doing this. I made my way over to him and sat myself down on his lap, my side leaning on his chest as I moved one arm around his shoulder to be comfortable. I was in a weird place as everyone was looking at us grinning and smiling.

"There we go" Jayden and Alex laugh
"They look pretty cute together, surprised they haven't kissed" Andrew adds.

That's right... nobody knew about that kiss we shared at Addie's birthday party. Nobody saw and nobody knew, just me and Atlas knew what was really happening in between us. Confusion.

"Yeah, shocking" Atlas adds with a nervous chuckle as he looks at me with a small smile. I couldn't help but smile back, looking into those eyes as I sat in his lap...made me weak.

"Ok guys smile for the photo!" Addie smiles and takes her phone out, holding it at a high angle to take the photo.

I felt my heart pound as I was so nervous. I smiled warmly at the camera. I could see Atlas looking at me, I knew he was admiring me, I mean it was so obvious. We all smiled and he wrapped his arm around my waist and smiled at the camera. I couldn't help but smile wider and truly feel happier.
