It was the 17th of February. I've been bored all day, laying in bed and watching TV. My brother was out with some of the boys so I was all alone in the apartment with nobody to bug.

I got out of bed walking through the apartment, looking for something to do, I was on the urge to punch a wall so I could repair it due to how bored I was. I groaned as I sat myself on the kitchen islands counter. I looked around trying to think of what to do. The sunset was gorgeous, making the building windows sparkle from the orange lighting. That's when my phone buzzed in my sweatpants pocket.

As I took it out I saw Atlas's name? I couldn't help but smile as I saw his name on my screen, I couldn't help but smile even harder once I opened the message.

-"Hey beautiful"

I blushed as I began texting back.

-"Hey handsome" I matched his flirty energy and laughed as I waited for him to reply.

-"What are you doing? Any plans later?"

I felt my heart pound... he asked if I had any plans?

-"Nope, no plans, I was actually pretty bored, why?"

-"Great, put on a dress, a smile, make yourself feel pretty and I'll see you at 7 in front of your apartment"

My eyes widened. What?!. I had no idea what to respond with. I was nervous, excited and super confused. Then it hit me. Was I finally going on a date with him?! Was he finally making "us" happen?

I squealed as I got off the counter and went to my room as I began looking through my closet. I had no idea what to wear. What if he was just messing with me?

I grabbed my phone about to text him but I held back. I rapidly searched Addie's contact and immediately messaged her.

-"ADDIE, ATLAS TEXTED ME"

I was impatient for her to respond, my heart pounding as I waited. Then I finally saw the three dots typing and my heart felt like it would pop out any second.

-"What did he say?!"

I smiled and screenshotted the conversation me and Atlas had before sending it to Addie to see what she would say.

-"NO FUCKING WAY!!! He's taking you on a date😱"

I laughed at her response and texted back.

-"I think so? I don't know, I'm sort of freaking out"

-"Don't freak out! This is great! Maybe he'll finally pop the girlfriend question😉"

I laughed at her response and looked up at the ceiling imaging the night ahead. Maybe he'll finally ask me.

-"what do I wear though?" I texted Addie knowing she always had good taste.

-"well where is he taking you?"

-"no clue" I replied

-"well think about it, your first date and its Atlas you're going with, so I'm guessing a restaurant"

I thought he about it and it made sense, any boy would probably take girls to a restaurant for a first date.

-"ok... so what do I wear?"

I waited anxiously whilst looking through my closet.

-"that silk dress you wore last month, the red one"

I looked through my closet and finally spotted three red silk dress. It wasn't long and it wasn't too short. It was just right up to my knees and it hugged my body perfectly. I was just nervous it might be too much.
