Chapter 5

(This is the next day after the last chapter)

***Avery's POV***

I wake up and check the time on my iPhone.

•Sunday, June 5•

I want to get back in touch with Jordan. I also want to know if he has any idea what happened to my penny board.

I remember back to when we were at the skatepark, trying to remember if he told me anything that could help me find him.

I remember him saying he was a YouTuber. Maybe I could try to look him up. It's my best chance.

I look up 'Jordan guy skateboarding on YouTube' and millions of videos pop up.

I start looking through them seeing that non of them are him. Well I'm gonna keep trying.

About 45 minutes later I think I found one of him. It looks like it's from a few months ago or at least that's when it says it was published.

I watch the video for a minute and its declared.

It. Is. Jordan.

I found him. Turns out his channel name is CaptainSparklez. I would have never guessed that.

I go to his channel and find out he mainly does minecraft videos. His fans love him too.

Then I see the channels preview video.

(I think that's what the video is called. I'm talking about the video that pops up first and you can watch it on the channel if you know what I mean, but if you don't just go with it.)

Huh.

It's the video of us skating together. It's called 'Failing At Skateboarding And Making A New Friend - Important Message Please Stay Till End'.

I'm going to watch it.

I watch it and at first he's just skating himself at the beginning and then I came in and started helping him.

It's a pretty good video so far.

I see the places he edited out, and he did keep the part where I introduced myself.

Then the screen went black and in bold white letters it said 'The Important Message:'.

Then it flashed to Jordan who I guess was in his recording room. He smiled at the camera.

"Hello Ladies and Gentlemen! I know, what's so important that I have to put it in a video and not just tweet it or something" He said.

"Well I'll tell ya"

"After I cut the footage something that I don't want to talk about happened and police came and forced us out of the skatepark. Me and Avery got separated and she wasn't able to grab her penny board, but I have it. And the problem with that is, is that I don't have anyway to contact her or get a hold of her and I want to give her her penny board back and I'm pretty sure she'd like it back too."

"So, I'm asking you guys to help me find her, so if you see her somewhere or if you know her I want you to give my email to her so she can email me so we can get this sorted."

"Also, if you Avery are watching this video, email me. Same thing."

"So I think this is all for this video dude brahs. I hope you enjoyed me failing at skateboarding. Remember to look out for Avery and remember all of you are the most gnarbucklest of all the gnarbucklers and I'll see you in the next video, Bye!!!" He finished off.

I checked the time again.

Dang. Time flies.

All of the sudden on the channel, a notification popped up saying that Jordan was streaming on Twitch and I could come watch if I wanted to.

So I clicked yes that I wanted to and it took me to Twitch.

Then another thing popped up saying that I had to make a account to watch streamers on Twitch.

I made my account and the username is what all my usernames and gamertags always are: AveryTheTurtle.

I know, it might be dumb, but you have to admit, turtles are fucking awesome and they have all the sweg.

You can't deny it. It should be a fact in a fact dictionary or wherever they keep facts.

I'm such a dork. Whatever.

So I went back to Jordan's Twitch and started watching his stream. He said he was streaming Minecraft, on this 'World of Mianite' and it was season 2 of it.

Then after 5 minutes of watching I followed him and subscribed.

Then I got a idea on how he would know it was actually me.....
