Kenzo rarely engaged in hero patrols, but with a week off from teaching duties, battling boredom, and Shin immersed in a new art project, he chose to embrace his hero persona. In his living room, he donned his costume, zipping it up uncomfortably as he discovered his hair had grown long enough to reach his eyes. Realising this, he cringed and decided to fashion a makeshift ponytail. Scouring his drawers, he unearthed a small blue hair tie and, with some effort, managed to secure his hair in a semblance of a ponytail. The thought crossed his mind that a return to his buzz cut might be in order.

During his time at UA, Kenzo had landed a contract with a hair company following his second victory at the UA sports festival. His soft blonde locks and attractive features caught the company's attention. However, when the overwhelming attention from zealous fans became too much to handle, Kenzo took matters into his own hands and shaved his head entirely. This unexpected move led to the termination of the contract after the first advertisement. Oops.

Wearing sturdy shoes specially crafted by Hatsumei, Kenzo adorned his eye mask, exiting through his bathroom window and gracefully taking flight into the sky.

Hovering on a platform of condensed air midair, Kenzo surveyed the bustling city below. The streets were filled with activity, but to his dismay, no crimes seemed to be unfolding. Bored, he reclined on his invisible perch before deciding to descend and land on a rooftop.

Descending like a leaf in the wind, Kenzo alighted on the rooftop and perched on its edge. The city sprawled out below, but to his disappointment, it seemed to be a crime-free day in Mustafu. He sat for almost an hour, keen eyes scanning the streets, but the city remained peaceful.

Rising from his crotch, Kenzo stretched his arms, the familiar pops and cracks offering a satisfying release for his senses.

"So boring," Kenzo muttered under his breath, his eyes fixed on the tranquil city below.

"I couldn't agree more." A low voice resonated right next to his ear. Startled, Kenzo lost his balance and plummeted from the skyscraper, spiralling through the air before regaining control and ascending again. As he rose, he discovered the rising pro hero Hawks, doubled over in laughter.

Hawks wiped a tear from his eye, still chuckling. "You're a bit jumpy, aren't you, Aero?"

Kenzo, regaining his composure, shot a sharp look at Hawks. "You nearly gave me a heart attack! What are you doing here?"

Hawks straightened up, his wings flaring slightly. "Just patrolling, same as you. Though, I don't usually startle people to the point of free fall."

Kenzo couldn't help but smirk. "Well, congratulations. You got the jump scare of the day. Anything interesting happening in the city?"

Hawks glanced around casually. "Not really. Quiet day. I was thinking of grabbing some dango from that place near the park. Wanna join?"

Kenzo considered the offer, then nodded. "Sure, why not? A little snack won't hurt." The two heroes soared through the city skyline, sharing light banter as they headed towards the dango shop.

As they touched down near the dango shop, Hawks grinned, his wings folding neatly behind him.

"So, Aero, tell me the truth. Do you always go on patrol with your hair tied up like that, or is this a special occasion?"

Kenzo rolled his eyes, readjusting the makeshift ponytail. "Hey, it's practical. Keeps my hair out of my face when I'm, you know, soaring through the air."

Hawks chuckled. "Fair enough. Gotta maintain that golden boy aesthetic, right? Can't let the wind mess up your godly locks."

The banter continued as they entered the dango shop. Kenzo ordered his favorite skewers, and Hawks opted for something spicier. As they found a quiet spot to sit, Hawks glanced at Kenzo. "So, how's the hero's life treating you? Teaching at UA and all that."
