a few weeks later
it was now december, and matt and melina had been together for almost a full month. it surprised everyone that they've lasted this long but in a good way.
their argument counter has only been at three, but they weren't serious, so that was a new record for them.
the chill of winter was creeping in, and the excitement of their first holiday season as a couple was starting to feel exciting. they were on the last week of school before winter break, and everyone was gearing up for the freedom of break. but for matt, today was about melina—well, it was supposed to be.
he had a date planned for later tonight at around 7pm. it was already mid-day, and melina hadn't answered his texts. he'd tried texting her a couple more times, even called once, but still nothing.
he sighs and decides to text her again.
