DC (AU): Zuri falls in love with Supergirl (V2)

Chapter 1: A Winter Encounter

The cold wind whipped through the streets of Metropolis as Zuri Morales swung through the city in his Miles Morales Winter Suit. The suit, designed to withstand the harshest winter conditions and keep him from getting a cold even while wearing it, kept him warm as he patrolled the city, always ready to protect its citizens.

As he swung from building to building, his keen senses picked up on a disturbance below. Metallo, a powerful villain known for his metallic body and destructive capabilities, was causing chaos in the streets. Zuri's heart raced with adrenaline as he swung down to confront the villain.

Just as he prepared to engage in battle, a blur of red and blue streaked past him.

It was Supergirl, the cousin of the legendary Superman. Zuri had heard tales of her incredible strength and unwavering determination, and now he had the chance to fight alongside her.

Supergirl landed gracefully beside Zuri, her cape billowing in the wind. "Looks like we've got some trouble," she said with a confident smile and clenching her fist.

Zuri couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement at the sight of her. He had always admired Supergirl from afar, but now he had the opportunity to fight alongside her. "Let's take him down together," he replied, his voice filled with determination. 

Metallo laughed. "Come at me! Let's see if Supergirl and her pet spider can stop me!" 

Supergirl smirked and clenched her fist tighter. "We'll do whatever it takes to bring you to justice!"

The battle was fierce, with Metallo unleashing a barrage of powerful attacks. Zuri's agility and web-slinging skills combined with Supergirl's superhuman strength made them a formidable team. They fought side by side, their movements in perfect sync.

After a grueling battle, Metallo was finally defeated. The villain lay defeated on the ground, his metallic body damaged and broken. Zuri and Supergirl stood victorious, their chests heaving with exertion. She picked him up and flew them to a rooftop.

Supergirl turned to Zuri, a smile playing on her lips. "Nice moves, kid. You really held your own out there."

Zuri couldn't help but feel a surge of pride at her words. "Thanks. It was an honor fighting alongside you."

Supergirl extended her hand towards Zuri. "I'm Kara Zor-El, but you can call me Supergirl."

Zuri shook her hand, a smile spreading across his face. "Zuri Morales, but you can call me Spider-Man."

Supergirl's eyes sparkled with amusement. "Spider-Man, huh? I like it."

As they stood on the rooftop, Zuri couldn't help but feel a connection forming between them. He found himself drawn to Supergirl's strength and compassion, and he wanted to get to know her better.

"Hey, Supergirl," Zuri began, his voice filled with hope. "Would you like to spend some time together? Maybe grab a cup of coffee or something?"

Supergirl's smile widened, and she nodded eagerly. "I'd love to, Zuri. How about tomorrow? We can meet at Noonan's Café."

Zuri's heart skipped a beat at her response. "Sounds perfect. I'll see you there."
