CHAPTER-8 Eternal Echoes of Love

AFTER TWO MONTHS

Two months had passed since Mira returned to Delhi after completing the medical camp in Ratanpur with her team. Her report on the knowledge and experience gained during the camp had been well-received by her senior, Dr. Raghav.

However, due to her busy schedule, Mira hadn't been able to contact Vikram much, and their communication was limited to a few messages. Immersed in her doctor duties, she worked diligently during her residency, aiming to acquire more knowledge and experience.

After completing her duties for the day, Mira rushed to her apartment and began packing her bags. She was leaving for Jaipur to attend her cousin sister Kritika's wedding.

Unlike her other cousins, Karan and Riya, who had already left for the wedding, Mira could only manage a few days off, so she was leaving that day. Her flight was scheduled in three hours.

Having packed her bags, Mira headed to the airport on time, completed all the necessary procedures, and settled into her seat.

In just an hour, she landed in Jaipur, where her elder cousin, Karan, awaited her at the airport. Together, they collected Mira's luggage and headed to their house in Jaipur.

Arriving at her mamu's house in Jaipur, Mira was warmly welcomed by her mamu, mami, and younger cousin Riya. The reunion was filled with love, and Mira, who had missed her family, shared heartfelt hugs with her mamu and mami.

Since the passing of her parents, Mira's mamu and mami had taken on the responsibility of caring for her, treating her as their own child.

The family spent quality time together, enjoying dinner and engaging in lively conversations. The warmth of the familial bond was evident as they shared stories and laughter.

Mira was grateful for the love and support she received from her mamu and mami.

Exhausted from the day's events, they decided to retire early, knowing they had an early start the next day. The wedding functions were set to take place at a resort in Udaipur.

The following morning, the family woke up early, prepared themselves, and set off for the resort in Udaipur.

Excitement filled the air as they looked forward to the upcoming wedding celebrations. Mira felt grateful for the love and support she received from her extended family, especially her Mamu and Mami, who had been pillars of strength for her since her parents' demise.

As they embarked on this joyous journey to celebrate Kritika's wedding, Mira couldn't help but appreciate the bond she shared with her family.

On the other side, in Ratanpur, Vikram was missing Mira dearly, and his heart ached for her. Nevertheless, he continued to carry out his responsibilities and was actively involved in village affairs.

Along with his right-hand man, Raghu, Vikram focused on investigating an old warehouse that was linked to the mysterious disappearance of drugs and expired medicine boxes in the village.

Despite their efforts, Vikram and Raghu were only able to gather partial information about the warehouse. The situation became even more concerning when the missing drugs and expired medicine were discovered within their village.
