MIRA'S POV

As I get ready for the day, my heart is filled with excitement and anticipation. Today has already started on a positive note - the havan ceremony went beautifully. Despite Arjun having to leave for his work as a doctor, I understand the importance of his commitments. Being in the medical field myself, I know how demanding and hectic our work can be.

But even amidst the busyness of our lives, today is a special day. It's one of the best moments of my life. I am about to get engaged to the person who loves me dearly, my Arjun.

As I adorn myself with traditional jewelry and wear the elegant outfit chosen for this occasion, I can't help but reflect on the journey that has led me here. From the moment I met Arjun, there was something special about him - a kindness in his eyes, a warmth in his smile that drew me towards him.

FLASHBACK

As I sat on the bus, making my way back home to Jaipur after eight long months, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement mixed with nostalgia. The familiar sights and sounds of the city were like a warm embrace after being away for so long. I plugged in my earphones, drowning myself in music, and lost in my own world.

Suddenly, the bus jerked to a halt, jolting me out of my reverie. I paused my music and peered out of the window, only to be met with chaos unfolding on the road ahead. People were running in all directions, their voices filled with panic.

Curiosity piqued, I stepped off the bus, joining the crowd gathered on the street. The bus conductor approached a man, frantically asking for information. The man informed him that two cars had collided just outside, causing a terrible accident.

Without a second thought, I rushed towards the scene of the accident. Two cars lay mangled, the aftermath of a violent collision. Among the wreckage, I spotted an injured child lying on the ground, his parents beside him, also injured. In the other car, a couple sat trapped, their vehicle badly crumpled from the impact.

People were trying to pry open the car doors, but they were stuck. Desperate to help, they attempted to break the windows to reach the injured occupants inside.

Realizing I had to act fast, I hurriedly stashed my luggage in the bus and began searching for anything that could be of use. Though I wasn't equipped with much, I knew I had to do something until the ambulance arrived.

With trembling hands and a racing heart, I knelt beside the injured child, trying to recall the basics of first aid that I had learned as an intern. With the help of others around me, we managed to administer some rudimentary first aid, stabilizing the child's condition as best we could given the circumstances.

Minutes felt like hours as we waited for help to arrive. Finally, the sound of sirens pierced through the chaos as the ambulance pulled up. A doctor emerged from the vehicle, his presence bringing a sense of relief to the tense atmosphere.

Introducing himself as Dr. Arjun, he quickly assessed the situation, acknowledging the efforts of mine who had provided initial aid. I greeted him with a sense of gratitude, thankful for his expertise in such dire circumstances.

As Dr. Arjun and his team took over, loading the injured onto stretchers and into the ambulance, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride mixed with humility. Though I may have been just an ordinary person caught in an extraordinary situation, I had done what I could to help those in need.

AFTER FEW YEARS

Later on i meet him again in the medical camp in his village. Despite being my senior, Arjun approached me with kindness and respect. He offered me guidance and support, making me feel welcomed and appreciated. There was an instant connection between us, a spark that ignited something special within me.
