Users can create their element from nothing. At this level, most users can not sustain what they've created, and it will typically disappear as soon as they stop actively supporting it with their bodies.

Possession

Similar to manipulation but on a higher level. Users have more control over their element and can use it like an extension of their own body. This is the highest level most users achieve.

--Conjuration

Users can create solid items constructed from their element. The amount of time and effort that it takes to perfect this skill means that each user will typically only learn to conjure a single item.

Air: 4-6 years

--Animation

Users can create living constructs called totems that move autonomously in. accordance with the user's wishes but without requiring conscious input. This is the most advanced form of manipulation and is the highest magical art achievable.

This art is only achievable by Hosts, those chosen to house the god of their discipline within their own body. Hosts have the ability to reversibly transmute the cells of their body into their element, wholly becoming it.
