Haleth walked through the doors with hurried steps,  his face betraying a hint of urgency and exhaust. "They're nowhere to be seen, the guards checked the whole palace."

Ko joined him entering the room with heavy breaths. "They're not here, Your Majesty. We're now investigating the nearby area,"

"Could they be kidnapped?" Yvanna mumbled collapsing on her seat, as tears threatened to fill her eyes but she needed to be strong.

"That's highly unlikely," Haleth said. "They could've snuck out,"

"I agree with him," Ko nodded, looking at Delvin who stayed silent the whole time.

"Send search in every direction of the city, I need them home before sunrise," Delvin ordered as everyone took their leave, he walked over to his wife in the hope of calming her down.

She flinched away from his touch swallowing back her tears. "They might be impulsive and childish but they know better than to stay away this late," she mumbled, Delvin sighed sitting next to her.

"We'll find them. Don't worry,"

"The city is too big,"

"They'll protect themselves, they're smart enough to do so," he soothed.

Haleth stopped before the garden as he glanced up at the halfway full moon with an unreadable facial expression, as he closed his eyes mumbling something to himself.

Ryan let out a humourless laugh, "you might think just because you believe or are a princess everything is easy for you," he shook his head ignoring the look of disapproval from his sister.   "These men are stronger than us in every way, your stupid idea is just plain stupid and a death wish."

Maria's determined eyes didn't waver. "I didn't ask for your help, I'll get everyone out of here,"  she walked towards the door, as Elisa raced after her and grabbed her by the shoulder.

"Ryan is right," she whispered. "We need to be smart about this,"

"I need to save Colderia,"

Ryan turned their back on them crossing his arms with a focused face. "I have a plan." He turned to them. "It's risky and stupid,"
His words made a smug smile creep into Maria's lips.
"You think this will work?" Maria questioned, putting the last clothing she could find in the doorway, earlier their lock broke because of Maria's unexpected crash into the room, so they could get out but with so much caution.

"It'll be enough to evacuate the children out of their rooms," Ryan explained, kneeling before the clothes and putting his both hands on them as flickers of fire cracked in the air.

Maria stared at his hands in disbelief and amusement, mostly the latter. "You didn't tell me you're a fire-awakener,"

"I need to protect my little sister," he mumbled stepping back as the corner of the clothes caught up in fire.

"All clear!" Elisa whisper-yelled watching the hallways.  "Let's get inside," Ryan said.

The three kids waited with anticipation for anyone's yell or any noises indicating the plan had worked, but a while had passed and nothing yet, that was till.

"Fire! Fire! Fire on the second floor!"

"Get the children to the front yard!"

"Grab the waters!"

"Tell the Master!"

They all looked at each other with nervous yet happy smiles as they heard the numerous steps abusing the floor towards their direction, cries of kids, and smoke about to fill their room, Maria hid behind a curtain when a man slammed the door open shoving the two siblings outside when the doorway was empty and fire have crawled towards the direction they planned on, she walked away towards where Ryan told her the lower cells where located.
