A few minutes had already passed by when Tsukishiro finally walked back into the room. I was still sitting inside, with the bottle in my hands, as I carefully turned it over and over.

"Did you have a good talk?"

"None of your business," I replied coldly, and I stood up to leave. Tsukishiro blocked my path, as though he wanted to say something.

"It'd be wrong of you if you discarded these."

"That's for me to decide, not you," I spat out. "If I remember correctly, Ayanokoji-sensei gave me the option, not you."

"What are you getting so worked up for? I'm just a middleman who's going to advise you once in a while," Tsukishiro smiled. "Whether you listen to me or not is completely up to you."

"I don't need your advice, Tsukishiro. I wouldn't listen to you even if you and I were the last people left on this planet," I retorted. "Just..... just let me go, okay? I don't feel too good."

"Of course," Tsukishiro replied, and he moved away from my path. I nodded, and proceeded to leave the room.

The way Tsukishiro acted right now..... it's definitely on Ayanokoji-sensei's orders. There's no way he'd be so cooperative with me without having some sort of agenda. I put those thoughts behind me, and continued to walk forward towards the dorms.

Under the starry night, as I was walking down the road, a certain thought made it into my mind, some sort of epiphany. I immediately turned around on my heel, and went back the way I had come.

I jogged into the Special Building, which housed the science laboratory. I slowly pushed the laboratory doors open, and my eyes fell on the lab assistant nonchalantly reading some news article behind the desk.

"Umm, excuse me."

"Hmm?"

The assistant looked up from behind her desk, and she peered at me. "Yes, dear?"

"I'm looking to practice for my chemistry practical next week. Is it alright if I occupy bench 8?"

"Not an issue, dear. Do wear your gloves and eyeglasses before starting."

"Of course, Miss. Thank you so much."

I quickly sped into the laboratory before the sweet assistant could change her mind. I chose bench 8 to perform my little experiment on, which also happened to be the bench farthest away from the laboratory door. Nothing suspicious about that.

After putting the goggles and gloves on, I immediately set out on setting up a dummy experiment to perform in case the assistant walked by. After making sure that I had a simple titration ongoing next to me, I set off to do what I had come here to do.

I discretely placed the syringes on the table, and deftly fixed up one of the needles into it. I noticed that there was more than one needle inside the box.

Ayanokoji-sensei really knew what he was doing.....

Slowly from the bottle, I extracted a minute amount of the liquid drug, making sure not to contaminate it in any way.

"Now, a little bit of acid....."

I proceeded to remember the tests that would help me determine the true nature of the liquid drug in front of me.

After a few minutes of dabbling around with chemicals that seventeen-year olds should not be dabbling around with, I lifted a dropper with solution just a little above my concentrate.
