You didn't even ask her, did you? You just made plans at Shouko's house and didn't bother asking.
She didn't receive a response, which was an answer in itself. She sighed loudly, but sent a message to her friend.

Got the invite from Osana-san. Is it really okay? I'll shut it down if you want.

Their conversation ended there, and after a quick message to invite Katai, Kagami was up, dressed, and out the door to head to Tadano's for help. Before she could second guess herself on why she was even there, she pounded on the door.
The door opened, and she froze momentarily. It was Hitomi. Kagami heaved a sigh of relief. "Hitomi, thank god! Osana-san invited everyone to Shouko's house and there's a gift exchange, and I don't know what to get! It's also her birthday tomorrow and I need to get her something for that! Lend me your guidance!"
Hitomi looked Kagami up and down, analyzing her options before turning slightly and calling out behind her, "Hito! Your friend is here!"
"What friend?" Tadano padded towards the door, allowing Kagami to catch sight of him in time to glare at Hitomi before he noticed. "Ishioka-san? What are you doing here?"
"Uh- I... um..."
"Kagami needs help choosing a gift for the gift exchange and for Komi-san's birthday. You were going out to get gifts yourself weren't you?"
"Yeah, we can go together to pick something out, if you'd like." Kagami managed a single nod in response, waiting patiently as he finished getting ready. With one final withering glare at Hitomi for her treachery, she followed him out the door to the mall.
"Najimi and everyone else are heading to the mall right now to pick out gifts for Komi-san. We can join up with them if you'd like."
"I highly doubt Osana-san would give me a choice in the matter." She signed sullenly.
"Ishioka-san, is everything alright? You seem... off today." He winced when she stopped walking and stared at the sidewalk below her feet, wishing desperately that he could take his question back.
"Osana-san just... really grates on my nerves sometimes. They like to do things without checking with others and assuming it will be fine because they're good with people, but it's not okay to set up a party at someone else's house without asking that person if it's okay in the first place. Does that make sense?"
"Yeah, I completely understand. Najimi has repeatedly shown up at my place without warning and even joined in on family trips before." Kagami felt her body relax slightly. He understood. He always understood. "Was there something else too?"
