"Mom, Dad, I have to tell you something," Vanessa said, her voice trembling with nervousness, as she looked at her parents.

"What's wrong, Vanessa?" Caitlyn said, sensing her daughter's unease. looking up from baby river.

"Well, me and Mads are dating," Vanessa said, still pumping with adrenaline.

The room fell silent for a moment as her words hung in the air. Caitlyn exchanged a look with her husband before a smile spread across her face.

"That's great! She's an amazing woman," Caitlyn said, her eyes glancing over at Madelaine.
Vanessa let out a sigh of relief

Caitlyn was exhausted and desperately needed a break. She lovingly handed the baby to her husband, grateful for his support. "Here honey, watch him. I'll go make some dinner; I know everyone's hungry," she said, mustering a smile.

Vanessa, their eldest daughter, seeing her mother's fatigue, offered to help. "I'll help you, Mom. Just let me go take this feeding pump off," she said, excusing herself to her old room.

Vanessa knew her dad was in the living room and shouted from her door, "Dad, if you get tired of the baby, you can just hand him to Madelaine. She's really good with him!"

Lolonyo, chuckled and nodded. "Okay, sweetheart. I'll keep that in mind," he replied.

Vanessa walked out of the room, carefully placing the bottle of fresh feeding milk in the fridge. She washed her hands in wiped her hands clean with a towel, ready to assist her mom in the kitchen. A sense of excitement and nervousness filled her, as she knew she had a lot to learn.

"I'm not so good at this, Mom," Vanessa admitted, somewhat sheepishly. "I'm going to need a lot of instructions."

Caitlyn smiled at her daughter, Vanessa, appreciating her willingness to help. "Don't worry, Vanessa. I'll guide you through it," she assured her.

Together, they gathered the ingredients to prepare a delicious dinner. As they started cooking, Caitlyn carefully explained each step to Vanessa.

She taught her how to chop vegetables, making sure she understood the techniques. Vanessa listened attentively and followed her mother's instructions with determination.

Meanwhile, Lolonyo, Vanessa's dad, sat in the living room, cradling the baby in his arms. He watched as the little one peacefully slept.

They gathered fresh greens, plump peas, and lemon zest to complement the vegan pasta. Vanessa carefully chopped the greens while her mother prepared the peas, both eagerly discussing their day.

With the ingredients ready, they boiled the pasta to perfection. As the kitchen filled with delicious aroma, their excitement grew. They sautéed the greens and peas, adding a pinch of salt and a dash of their secret herbs. The bright lemon zest added a refreshing touch, elevating the flavors.

Finally, it was time to plate their masterpiece. They served the Creamy vegan pasta with greens, peas, and lemon zest, garnishing it with a sprinkle of love.

"Foods done," Caitlyn said with a sense of accomplishment.

Vanessa, walked over to carefully seat the plates on the table while Lolonyo, passed the baby to Madelaine. Madelaine gently accepted the baby and walked into the room where it was peaceful, carrying the portable bed with her.

As the aroma of delicious food filled the air, Vanessa settled into her seat, and Madelaine rejoined them, placing herself next to Vanessa. Caitlyn's and lolonyo also took their places at the table. It was a wholesome scene, a moment of togetherness.

With hungry anticipation, everyone began savoring the meal that Caitlyn and Vanessa had prepared.

"Is it good?" Vanessa eagerly asked, taking a bite.

Madelaine, with a contented smile, nodded and replied, "It's really good!"

Lolonyo, however, hesitated. "I don't know because I'm not a vegetable person, or ever tried vegan food," he admitted reluctantly.

Caitlyn, looking disappointed, intervened, saying, "Lolo"

"Just try it, Dad, Might like it" Vanessa said.

Her dad took a bit of the food.

[Bed time, some of Madelaine pov]

After a long day spent with Vanessa's parents, we were both exhausted and ready for some rest. We made our way to Vanessa's old room. Vanessa excused herself to change and freshen up in the bathroom, while I decided to take a soothing shower to wash away the weariness. As I stepped out of the bathroom, I noticed our sweet little baby peacefully snoozing in his portable bed I shut the door and changed before, gently picking him up.

I placed the portable bed on the floor and began rocking our precious bundle back and forth, trying to lull him into a deeper slumber. Just as I was lost in the rhythm of the moment, Vanessa reappeared with a warm smile on her face.

"Hey, let me see him," Vanessa whispered softly. I passed the baby into her outstretched arms, and a serene glow washed over her face.

"My parents brought a bassinet for him. Could you please go and get it? It's in Celina's old room," Vanessa requested gently.

I nodded and headed towards the room she had mentioned, dragging the bassinet along.

After retrieving the bassinet, I carefully maneuvered it back to our room and shut the door.

Vanessa gazed down at her little bundle of joy, her baby river, finally fast asleep in her arms. After what felt like an eternity of rocking, soothing, and gentle lullabies, the peaceful slumber had arrived.

Vanessa carefully laid the baby down in his bassinet, tucking him in with the softest blanket.

We laid in bed together, wrapped in a warm cuddle,  As we cuddled, her delicate touch enveloped me. Vanessa's tender kisses danced upon my lips, without hesitation, I kissed her back. Vanessa traced her fingertips across my skin, sending shivers of anticipation down my spine. Slowly, she straddled me, slowly took my shirt off.

Her footsteps almost too faint to be heard. Caitlyn walked inside the room. She couldn't help but freeze in her tracks, her eyes widening in shock.  Madelaine and Vanessa were engrossed in an intimate moment.

Vanessa, sensing her mother's presence, quickly turned around, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment. "Mom," Vanessa stammered, her voice trembling.

Caitlyn stormed out of the room, her face turning scarlet with embarrassment. Madelaine couldn't believe her eyes, Vanessa's mother had caught her with no top on!

It was an utterly mortifying situation, and Caitlyn couldn't help but blame herself for the careless mistake.

"I'm so sorry, Mads," Vanessa stammered, scrambling off the bed.

She knew she had to face the situation, to confront her mother about the awkward encounter. Determined to make things right, she hastily left the room, leaving Madelaine behind.

As Madelaine sat there, still trying to process what had just happened.
