The Mikaelson family had just come back from celebrating another one of Astrid's milestones.

Jillian decided that even though it was late, she needed to talk to her sister. The same sister who never went with them anywhere.

Jillian never questioned it, she was more than content to receive all of the attention.

"Hope!" Astrid barged into her sister's room with knocking, a rather common occurrence. The dark brown was surprised when Hope's room was completely cleared out and the only thing remaining was her furniture and a bunch of letters.

"MOM!!!" Astrid yelled and pacing. Where could her sister have gone? They were gone for two hours, how could she have just left?

Hayley sped upstairs after having immediately heard Astrid's yelling. "What is it?!" She asked frantically, looking for anything that could put Astrid in danger.

"Hope's gone!" Astrid cried, tears running down her face. She was panicking. Her little sister was gone.

Hayley looked around the room and saw that Eve was indeed gone, along with her child. The rest of the family had immediately come upstairs after hearing Astrid's crying.

Hayley was bawling her eyes out. Her second-born child was gone. Klaus had tears in her eyes. Someone he had sworn to protect, his child, had vanished without a trace.

"She left something behind." Rebekah pointed out the letters that rested on the mattress. By this time Elijah, Kol and the others had arrived back after seeing Hope off.

Each Mikaelson picked up their letters and were stunned.

She cut them out of her life.

Loki, the original twin, was tearing up at his niece had written. Had he really been so blind? He consistently praised one niece for her intellect and skill yet ignored the other who was probably equally, if not more so intelligent.

Freya also had tears in her eyes. She had been so focused on the firstborn Mikaelson that she had never thought about helping the second-born child and the power that she held as well.

Rebekah was sobbing. After so long of wanting a family, she had someone who was willing to do things and spend time with her and she ignored her existence completely.

Hayley at this point was a mess. Her own daughter hated her. She failed as a mother, and that was something that she promised she would never do. Hayley remembered every single flower crown and they were still sitting in her room. She thought that Jillian had made them.

Klaus was pissed. How could he have done this? His daughter compared him to Mikael, actually said he was worse than Mikael. He promised to protect and love her always and forever and he didn't. He failed.

Astrid was devastated. Her little sister, her twin had left without so much as a goodbye. In her letter, she was basically told to screw off, and that hurt the tribrid. She realized how much their family had screwed her up. They left her out of everything. They forgot about her.

Those who had seen Hope off had tears running down their faces as well. They were a mix of real tears and crocodile tears. They were shattered that she had left but knew it was what was best for her.

"She's gone! It's my fault! She doesn't know how to use her abilities! She'll be in danger!" Hayley wailed from Loki's arms.

"Freya. Track her now." Klaus growled his hybrid eyes on display.

The Mikaelson witch began a tracking spell using the letter that Hope had left behind but the map she was using immediately burst into flames.

"She's clocked." Freya stated.

"Thank you sister for the statement of something that was so obvious to us."Loki snarked his anger slipping slightly.

Freya began a different tracking spell but instead of showing where Hope was located, it showed where they were located.

Hope used as many cloaking spells as she could find, including an impermeable Gemini Coven cloaking spell.

The Mikaelson's were determined to find their last member and make things right. While in New York, Hope, and Grant were getting to know their new family. One that promised not 'Always and Forever' but 'To the Moon and Back.'
