Chapter 65: Mounting a Raid
(A.K.A. The Finale is getting closer)
Judgement Cave, Exetior Dimension
The kids appeared in the house in the cave.
"We're back!" Carter called out.
"Hey, you're all ok!" Silver exclaimed.
"Uncle Silver! Aunt Blaze!"
The kids ran over to jump on the two.
"Mom!" Shadic smiled as he jumped up and hugged his mother.
"My son! How I missed you!" Blaze laughed as she embraced her child.
"How touching." A voice said behind the mother and son.
"Shadow." Blaze smiled as she embraced her husband.
"I've missed you." Shadow said.
"I've missed you, too." She said.
"Silver."
"Shadow."
The two nod at one another, then shake hands.
"Good to have you back." The black hedgehog stated.
"Good to be back." The white hedgehog answered.
"Hi, Blaze! Hi, Silver!" Amy called out.
"Amy!"
The two ran and embraced the hedgehog.
"Good to see you again!" Blaze said, hugging her go friend.
"Good to see you guys, too. I have him to think."
Sonic then walked in.
"Hey, guys. Miss me?"
"Sonic!" Silver and Blaze smiled again as they got up to greet him.
"Whoa, easy, guys. I'm here and perfectly fine." Sonic laughed as they clamped onto him.
"Well, that's just about everyone." Tails stated.
"Except Maria. You guys said she got captured by Sark." Silver stated.
"They turned her into one of them." Shadow said.
"Then are we even going to be able to save her?"
"Yes, we can." Exetior said, appearing.
"So you are Exetior?" Blaze asked.
"Indeed. It appears as if you have recovered all your friends, Sonic. As well as a few others.
Sally, Eggman, and the others in that group walked in.
"Hey, wait. Eggman?" Silver asked, confused.
"They're on our side this time. Even Eggman is helping us." Sonic assured him.
"It's been a long time coming, but it's time to return to your world to take it back. The Chosen One is ready, your team is at full strength, and the kids are ready to fight. This will be a lengthy battle and Sark will send out everything he has, but I believe that we are ready." Exetior explained.
"At last, we're getting our shot." Sonic grinned.
"I, along with my group, will assist you in battle." Exetior added.
"Looks like we're going to finish this together." Amelia said to Sonic.
"Yep. Glad we do, too." Sonic said, giving her a thumbs-up. He then turned to his friends. "You guys ready to fight for the world again?"
"We've been fighting since Sark walked into Tails' workshop." Knuckles said.
The group was ready.
Exetior opened a portal.
"Let's do this!" Sonic exclaimed as everyone entered the portal.
