Chapter 69: Runup on Sark Palace

(A.K.A. So that other chapter wasn't the only one that didn't have one of these sections)

Train to Mystic Ruins
The kids had managed to catch the train to the Mystic Ruins without any problems. There was no one else on board so it was a silent and slightly eerie ride.
"Dang, this thing is almost over." Karson said.
"I know, and I can't wait!" Precious added.
"Wait, that means we have to go back to school." Sarah pointed out.
"Man, you're right! I don't want to do that!" Karson moaned.
"Lucky for me, I don't have to go to school." Precious gloated.
"Just wait until next year." Karson said.
"The train will be arriving at the Mystic Ruins in two minutes." The train's PA said.
"Almost there." Shadic said.
"I've just about got the triplets asleep." Carter pointed out. "So how does Serenity even work? She can't even talk."
"Right now I can." Serenity said, causing all the kids to jump up in surprise. "Don't be alarmed, it's just me."
"Reminds me of of me turning into a teenager when I turn super." Sarah said.
"The train has now arrived at the Mystic Ruins. Have a wonderful day!" The PA said.
"We're here." Serenity said as the group walked off the train.
"Look!" Carter pointed to the floating palace off the coast of the Mystic Ruins.
"That's Sark Palace!" Serenity exclaimed.
"It's way out there, that's for sure." Precious moaned.
"Well we should start heading that way." Sarah said as the kids walked down the station's stairs.
"We're almost home." Serenity told her siblings.
Charity and Miles Jr. cheered. They still couldn't talk, but they could make mumbled jargon.
"Hard to believe we're back where this whole thing started. Karson pointed out.
"Well hopefully it's about to be where it ends." Precious stated.
The group then climbed the tall stairs to Tails' Workshop.
"Not so fast, children." A voice called out.
The children looked around to find the source of the voice.
"Tails Doll!" They exclaimed.
"We meet again. That was pretty remarkable for you to escape my little Hide and Seek game. However, this time, you won't be so lucky." Tails Doll said.
"We're not scared of you, Doll!" Karson yelled.
"I'm more than just a doll, boy! See my true power!"
The gem on Tails Doll's head began to glow. The Doll began to transform as he grew to titanic size, his teeth becoming razor sharp, horns protruding from his forehead, and his gem entrenched in his forehead. He had transformed into the Tails Doll Devil!
"You still brave now?" He said in a demonic voice.
The young echidna pulled out the Power Gem.
"You bet I am!" Karson grinned as he began to grow until he was the same size as the Tails Doll Devil.
"Exactly what I wanted. Sin, now!"
Suddenly, Karson began to scream in pain.
"Karson!" The kids yelled.
"I'll just drain your power until you fall into the ocean and drown!" Sin said evilly.
"We have to do something!" Sarah cried.
Serenity then began to glow.
"Whoa, what's happening?" Shadic asked.
"I have the native ability to call out to the Chaos Emeralds in tense and dire situations." Serenity answered.
Then, all 7 Chaos Emeralds appeared.
"Ok, that's actually overpowered." Precious said.
"Well, I guess we know what's about to happen." Shadic put in.
Sarah nodded as she closed her eyes and concentrated. The Chaos Emeralds began to spin around her as she began to age again until she was in a teenage body, glowing yellow, and her quills growing down to her waist. She was once again Super Sarah!
"Let's do this!" Super Sarah said as she flew up toward Sin. "Pick on someone your own size!" She yelled as she charged right at Sin and socked him right in the face, sending him down into the ocean below, freeing Karson.
Sin swam back up to the surface.
"I feel like I should have seen that coming." He said as he flew up.
"Thanks, Sarah." Karson said.
"So a little 2-on-2? That can be fun." Tails Doll Devil said.
"It's not going to help you! Let's do this!" Karson exclaimed.
