Chapter 41: The Evolution Begins
(A.K.A. The Trump Card moves into place)
Judgement Cave, Girls' House, Exetior Dimension
Exetior Cream and Exetior Sally were currently watching after the triplets while the others were away.
Exetior had business to take care of.
"They sure are pretty, aren't they, Miss Sally?" Exetior Cream said.
"That they are. Remember, these are the children of an alternate version of you." Exetior Sally told her.
"Yeah, I know. Hopefully someday I'll have beautiful children of my own." Exetior Cream smiled.
"I'm pretty sure you will, Cream. The time will come." The demon squirrel patted the demon rabbit's shoulder.
Then, the triplets began to glow brighter than before.
"Huh, what's this?" Exetior Cream asked, shocked.
"I don't know. I better go get Exetior!"
Exetior Sally took off in pursuit of her master.
A Few Minutes Later
Exetior Sally came back with Exetior in tow.
"You said they were glowing brighter?" Exetior asked.
"That's right, Master. Look for yourself." Exetior Sally pointed to the three glowing children.
"So they are."
"What does it mean, Master?" Exetior Cream asked.
"It means that they're making significant progress in coming into their powers." He told her.
"That's great, right?"
"Very much so. They're not quite ready to take down Sark or the Tails Doll just yet, but they're making great progress." Exetior explained.
"We'll win this, I just know we will." Exetior Cream said.
"I agree with that statement." Exetior Sally added.
"Yes. Or so I hope." Exetior whispered the last part.
