Chapter 37: Battle with Sark Sally
(A.K.A. Time to battle the 2nd leader!)
Act 9, Alter of Sark, Sark Dimension
The group had arrived at the next destination.
"Wow, that was close." Amelia breathed. "I feel like I just said that."
"I'll say. Where in the world are we now?" Knuckles asked.
"Welcome to the Alter of Sark." A voice said.
Then, a figure floated down in front of the group.
"Hello, I'm Sally. I'm here to kill you per orders of my leaders. Prepare to die!" Sark Sally stated as the stitches over her eyes began to glow.
"I'm guessing that's not good." Cream said.
"No, it's not. Everyone scatter!" Amelia yelled.
They all did as told before Sark Sally shot a beam from her stitched eyes, spreading in all directions.
"We can't catch a break, can we?" Knuckles complained.
"No, I dont think we are." Tails added. "Ok, we need to form some strategy to beat her. Any ideas?"
"Well, all she has is that eye attack. That, and whatever abilities Sally has. Basically, we just need to beat her like any other foe." Amelia said.
"I think we can handle that, don't you guys think so?" Knuckles said.
Tails and Cream nodded in agreement.
"Well, let's go give her our all!" Amelia exclaimed.
"Right!" The trio put in.
The four charged out toward Sark Sally, ready for a fight.
"So you've come to face your fate head on, huh? Fine by me, it just makes my job easier." Sark Sally stated.
She shot another beam but Tails and Cream flew Knuckles and Amelia out of its path. Knuckles let go of Tails and landed a punch on Sark Sally, making her stagger in pain.
"Ow! What a cheap shot!" She groaned.
"Cheap shot my ass!"
Knuckles went to kick Sark Sally, but she dodged it and countered with one of her own.
Cream let Amelia go, who pulled a Mario and jumped on her head, allowing Tails and Cream to swing around, fly down, and each landing a punch, sending the demon squirrel down.
"Nice job!" Amelia said.
"HAHAHA! You think I'm going down like that?" Sark Sally laughed evily. "I still have plenty left in the tank, you fools!"
The squirrel demon began to glow.
"Something tells me that this is going to be worse." Tails said.
"No, she's turning hyperealistc!"
Sark Sally was now a giant head.

"Now you see my full potential! Quiver in fear, you ants!" The head boomed.
"So now what do we do?" Cream asked.
"We need to remove the six stitches from her face. It will cause her to return to normal size." Amelia stated.
"Well, time to pull some stitches!" Knuckles yelled as they made their way to the ominous floating head in the horizon.
"You stand no chance against me!" Sark Sally boomed again.
Clones of her standard form began to appear in front of our heroes.
"Oh, great, clones." Knuckles sighed.
"Just trounce them one good time and they'll disappear." Amelia told him.
"I'm thinking spin attack." Tails said with a smug look on his face.
"I love it." Cream put in.
"Let's do it!" Knuckles added.
The four heroes went into their ball forms and plowed through the clones, taking them out.
"That was too easy." Tails said.
"Right. Now on to the real deal!" Amelia stated.
"Fine! Give me your best shot!" Sark Sally challenged as the quartet go ever so closer.
Tails and Cream airlifted Knuckles and Amelia up to the floating head.
"Grr! You just won't give up, will you?" Sark Sally said. "Well, I still have one person left. Knuckles!"
Sark Knuckles appeared.
"Oh, great, another version of me. I'll handle this joker." Knuckles said.
"Finally, someone who will pose a challenge!" Sark Knuckles stated as the two began to battle.
"The stitches!" Amelia said.
"Got it!" Tails and Cream nodded as they flew up and began to peel the first stitch.
"Knuckles, you moron! Forget about the echidna! Stop them from peeling my stitches off! If case you forgot, I'M A GIANT FUCKING HEAD!" Sark Sally yelled.
"On it!"
Sark Knuckles went to stop Tails and Cream, but Knuckles grabbed him by his tail and threw him back.
"I'm got him! Take care of the stitches!" Knuckles called out.
"Gotcha." Amelia nodded.
Tails and Cream had removed two stitches.
"Knuckles, you dweeb! You're useless!" Sark Sally scolded the echidna demon.
Then, she summoned more clones.
"I'll take care of the clones." Amelia said as she charged at the clones.
The third and fourth stitches had been removed.
"No! I can't be defeated this easily! Then again, I am just a floating head, and those aren't excatly hard to beat if you know what you're doing." Sark Sally said, accepting her impending defeat.
Tails and Cream removed the final two stitches.
Sark Sally began to cry out in defeat as she returned to her usual form.
When they landed, Knuckles gave Sark Knuckles a KO punch.
"Y-you did it. Y-you a-actually beat me." Sark Sally whined.
"It was going to happen either way." Amelia told her.
"Well, since you beat me, I guess you can have these back."
Two statues appeared.
"Hey, it's Cheese!" Cream explained.
"And our world's Sally!" Tails put in.
"They should be freeing themselves." Amelia said.
Then, the two began to glow.
"Hopefully, that's it." Knuckles put in.
Knuckles was right as Cheese and Sally returned to normal.
"What-what's happening?" Sally moaned.
"A lot, Sally. A lot." Knuckles told her.
"Chao!" Cheese chirped as the Chao and rabbit wrapped around each other in a hug.
Then, a portal appeared.
"Well, it looks as if we can head to the cave." Amelia said.
"Cave?" Sally asked, confused.
"It's a long story." Tails told her as they walked through the portal.
